I like how Earthrise Thundercracker has a stoic expression on his face as opposed to the smirk his Siege version had.

These clones are straight up reissues. I still need Pounce but come the F on. The exact same old molds?

 

the paint jobs are different from the hasbro release and mildly different from the takara release

 

The faces are silver on these new ones and the Hasbro ones I have now have white faces.

 

That's interesting, because I was thinking of doing the opposite. I would need to eBay Thundercracker or buy the pack and sell off Thundercracker.

I don’t want a second Wingspan... aw who am I kidding? I’ll get that set if I can.

 

I’d have preferred a three pack of Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp and no single release of Starscream.

 

I can’t wait to get the seekers glad I held off & just got the 3 pack from target now I can have my ER seekers!

 

I wasn\'t going to pick up ER Seekers.... but now I must. 

 

Probably have to get em. I like the clones, but have both Hasbro and Takara versions already, so my urge may be based on being shut indoors for the past two weeks.

 

Now to hope and wait for Target.com to have pre-orders to go live for the Seeker 2 Pack. I cannot wait to have the set finally! Anyone know when pre-orders usually go live, or if they already did? 

 

Thundercracker and Skywarp look great on this mold. Probably even better than Starscream, which is weird I hope they actually have silver paint this time.

I had a gut feeling that we would be getting these back when starscream was revealed so i didnt pick the siege ones and im so glad i didn't, now i wish skywarp didnt have that screaming face...

Agree 100%. I passed on his Siege entry because of that stupid expression. It's not even a convincing smirk. It just looks like someone took a headsculpt with a blank section and cut a line iine it. They totally phoned it in.

 

It's hard to tell for sure because we just have renders of the new ones, but to me it looks like these new ones have the same deco as the Takara versions. The color layout is all the same at least. So you may be able to dodge buying this release!  

I'm glad they don't have yellow/orange faces like they did in The Rebirth, otherwise I'd have to double-dip!

 

I’m just wondering if Skywarp is gonna be black this time or a charcoal grey like Siege?

Considering they’re both straight recolors, maybe they’ll have better than average paint?
