A couple more pics using FrozenFishLurker's reference pics to make the head look up, as well as using the ankles tilting to put him on 4 legs. It's an approximation using Scavenger's position looking down in PrimeVsPrime video. I think all-4 position can definitely be done.

Though to be fair maybe you're referring to the Takara repaints that did have red face paint.

 

Could you please show me how you have attached the head? I will give it ago and try out some of the foot configurations for you all to see if I can get it looking better on all 4s

 

For all those disappointed about the posability, there is always Devil Saviour at 4x the price and a larger scale.

No doubt there will be studio series add ons from DNA etc plus the upsized KOs with various improvements from Aoyi too.

Otherwise, given the purchase cost of this version at c$200, it feels worth it.

Plenty of options will be coming forward here on in for years to come to get the perfect mivie devastator given his popularity. This is just the start of the journey.

Example, ratcheted inserts beween the legs and overload like DNA did for CW devastator shoulders will be an easy fix. Plus a ratcheted head link attachment.

Thank you for all the tips and suggestions. This is the best I’ve come up with so far. I do think that overloads claw will become an issue (could potentially break due to the weight and clearance on long haul) and I’m not too thrilled about the weight on the hands/fingers

 

People are hard wired to propagate the counter argument & the negative these days.

I'm not wildly enthused by the combined Devastator, but individually I do love many of the Constructicons, especially Mixmaster and Scavenger, and Scrapper and Overload don't look like they will disappoint. I always considered the combined mode a bonus, I don't think I would have picked any of the Constructicons up if they weren't as strong individually.

 

Yup. That's the money shot. Didn't just using the clips on Mixmaster work? Is this alternate transformation necessary to get the angle?
