Can’t wait to get my clear and gold variants in. It’s hard to believe that I told myself in December I’d ONLY buy NA Starscream just to have a great Starscream mold (MP collector only previously). I’ll have 8 NA seekers by May...and my NA collection has gone from 1 to 14 in that time. Oops.

I feel you. I have all the IF seekers. NA Starscream will be here this week. I know I’m going to end up getting Skywarp and Thundercracker too. Hopefully I can stop there.

 

I’m hoping for orange Sunstorm   would round out all the colors nicely

 

Anybody else notice that these Seekers have an inaccurate size listed. It states that they are 8.5cm / 3.35\" but actually 10cm / 4\". This drives me crazy because they about an inch taller then they are supposed to be and don\'t scale right with the rest of the NA collection. I wish they would post the right sizes.

I’m not sure where you saw any listings of 8.5 cm when these were solicited. From the get-go NewAge has said these were going to be 10 cm. And the scale is pretty spot on in terms of what we’ve always seen through scale charts and animation.

BBTS, TFSource and ShowZ all have the same sizes listed as what I posted.

 

TFSource has them for 3,77".

Edit: BBTS also. ShowZ has them as 3,35".

Would you happen to know where I can get a good scale chart? I have been following this one. Also where I can get accurate sizes. I am new to collecting the legends scale and I purchased a bunch of NewAge and for some reason the Seekers seem to be much tallers

I know Newage posted some case-packed box shots of Sunstorm.. but has anyone seen movement on their orders yet from any retailer? Just curious.

Good scale chart? Lol. You won't find a scale chart that resembles anything you've seen in mainstream media. You might find a scene in the tv show here or there but you'll have to look pretty hard for more than a couple cherry picked examples. New Age is pretty good about sticking to it though - the NA seekers, carbots, and minibots do match this chart if you can find it. The masterpiece line follows it too, for what it's worth.

 

I've ranted about this in the past, but the gist of it is... Legends is not the place for strict scale consistency. It's about making cool, unique transformations at a small size. It's only in the last couple years as the MP collectors ditch their big bois in favor of these smol bois that the strict 'in-scale' demands have gotten unbearable.

Best advice I can give is to just judge the figure on its own merits, and then figure out what to do with it later.

You can make a blend of official, NA, MS, and others to get bots that are at least in the right ballpark... carbots < truck bots < optimus < dinobots... but ya, it's never gonna be perfect.
