I actually like the first movie, except for the lobster scene, tbh.

Truly, I love the movies. Sad that it probably won't meet with Holland's Spidey :(

I heard there's a rumor Jameson from Far From Home might be in Morbius, so they could eventually get Venom in there...

I guess people's sense of humour is different around here because that really made me laugh.

    Hope so.

It does happened, but is it memorable to general moviegoers is another question altogether...

While he will be directing a movie for Sony coming up, the deal is for producing movies and TV shows, which he's done pretty successfully recently. A Quiet Place, Ouija, Jack Ryan, Last Ship, Black Sails, etc

I say they were. General moviegoers and moderate TF fans like them for what they are, but the Geewunners didn't! They were for the most part quite successful.

I hope this is Bay's END with transformers.

As a producer, someone else could come and leave more money.

    That was the point.

No, no they didn't unless I'm living in a different universe than you. That's the whole reason why we've gotten the complaints of people not being able to tell what's going on. Hell, people can't even tell Bumblebee apart from any other yellow bot (mainly referring to Canopy here). Every single Bayformers film aside from the first one has received a rotten audience rating on RT. The franchise is the laughing stock of the world.

Im not going to get into arguments about Bay, and designs because it’s not 2007. However I want to caution the side of the fandom that thinks this is Bay leaving Transformers.

Just because his company has a first look deal with Sony doesn’t mean he will be leaving his executive producer position on any of his existing projects. Big directors, and producers like Bay are basically freelance they work with any studio. As evidenced by Spielberg still being an exec on the Transformers movies even after the Dreamworks deal with Paramount ended a over a decade ago.

I’m not saying he won’t leave at some point, but this Sony deal in no way gaurantees that he will.

As mentioned in my original post, I was talking about Bayformers (which does not include Bumblebee).
