I'd prefer a leader to match Star Convoy just cuz those two DO feel like they should match, but if they're using the Galvy mold I at least hope they vastly improve on it with this tooling because that figure was one of the biggest disappointments I've had.

Sorry for not saying this sooner. But factually, a few of the Prime Wars figures were based on pre-Prime Wars designs and ideas. In this case the Titans Return version of Galvatron's jet-based alt-mode is based on what was originally planned for Super Megatron. A similar example of this is the second Titans Return release of Optimus Prime. The very first design idea they had for his Powermaster figure was to have his alt-modes be both his truck alt-mode and a jet alt-mode. Which is why they they used both the Titan Master gimmick and his Generation 2 form to make that idea happen. Plus the conclusion they got over that decision is why I am treating the remold idea as a speculation.

And for the record I am not dismissing the idea that they might. If they do or don't my hope is that there are no QC issues when it comes to the final product. So regardless of what we are shown, I can only ask that we all hope that it does not have QC issues. Because none of the responses we will see here will be free of those. :p

I forgot about that! Man... That is one of my top favorite things to look at when it comes to Transformers. :)

I'm surprised there is no mention of Superlink Galvatron / Energon Megatron. Seems like the most famous instance to me. :)

Knowing there was some slight detail differences.

I mean, they first teased Super Megatron at the same time as their original tease of Star Convoy.

Japan is 16 hours ahead of U.S. Pacific Standard Time, so we should see what Super Meg looks like at about 3-4 PM PST today April 1 (7-8 AM Japan Time April 2)? :D

Sure looks that way. I am hoping they will try to at least paint them correctly. I know it will put gunmetal grey on the back of the jet mode...but I'd rather sacrifice that to have a more accurate robot mode. Honestly, I'm a bit more disappointed they didn't take the TR Megatron and retool it for Super Megatron V2.
