New second hand purchases arrived today!

Man oh man these removable blade sabers is WHERE IT'S AT! As I've said numerous times, that's why I'm so up on the Disney Legacy ones....and when I saw the upcoming Hasbro Kit Fisto wasn't going to be removable, I found this 2010 one for sale online. The amazing seller threw in the 2010 ROTS Obi Wan too; and let's just say, this purchase wasn't THAT much more than my Hasbro Elite FX Kylo Ren. :)

Well, it lights up and makes noise. Lol
It's lighter than I thought, the grenade section is actually smooth and easy to grip. It's pretty loud. Easy 1 touch activation. Still have to check it out more after it fully charged

That's cool you got two for the price of one. The Obi Wan one looks really nice as well.

So my cousin's son is finally into Star Wars. He's already watched all 9 movies and he understands the story a little. But most of his questions involve the Lightsabers. Most of the are about the colors and how rare they are. When I was at Savi's Workshop, I was afraid he would get in to mischief and he'll think the Lightsaber I'm building is for him. Even though he wasn't there, I was a little disappointed that his dad did not watch. But he thought it was just the best. Although after I left the workshop with my saber and met up with my family, he kept trying to take my saber from me and his father kept scolding him. Maybe I should just give him my old Toy Lightsaber. But he'll be rough on it. Not just that he'll break it, but he can use it to wreck the house and hurt his sister.

My kids have had toy lightsabers since birth. Key is you got to get enough so everyone has one. Rule is no fighting with anyone unarmed with a saber. All good and now my kids have ninja-like skills.

Sooooo....how bout those new Ashoka sabers?

I'd imagine we'll see Disney put those out soon. (When things get back to normal)

I can't wait for this pandemic to be over. I can plan my next trip to Disneyland and I will book another reservation for Savi's Workshop for a second Lightsaber.

    Indeed!

    Disney Legacy.
Yeah, it's got the same ignition as Vader's, followed by Maul's grumble.

Nice! I am really impressed with the Legacy line. Partially selfish, but wish they sold them online while they are closed. :D  I know that is not possible, but I can wish.

Nice. I also have a Saberforge Prodigal Son but with a custom control box. It's lighter in weight and quite a bit longer in dimensions than I expected when compared to the VadersVault Hero Gen2 I got recently.

    20200419_154323_copy_756x1008.jpg

The one on the left is a LEGO custom ROTJ Luke Skywalker lightsaber hilt included just for fun, the middle one is the VV Hero Gen2, and the one on the right is the Saberforge PS.

I like both for different reasons but if I had to choose, I'd say the edge goes to the VV Hero for its professional quality fit and finish and overall precision over the Saberforge PS. The PS is a bit easier to handle and swing around due to the extra space on the hilt for your hands.

I also received my VV VDR Gen2 (ESB Darth Vader on the left) and OB4 (ANH Obi-Wan Kenobi on the right), displayed next to their LEGO custom hilt counterparts.

Oooh, those look really nice. I'm guessing these are not sold on their site anymore since I can't find any there.

Edit: I keep on getting tempted to order those Lego Lightsabers when you post photos of them. Just sucks that he's in the UK.

    Whoo hoo!
After keeping my eyes open for a long while now, I finally found a 2010 Anakin Skywalker Fx lightsaber, with removable blade....for $350.

A lot, sure....but not when you see what they always go for on the aftermarket. I couldn't pass it up.

trying to figure out what button to use for my Temple Guard. bottom is also a lightup button that glows red, top is a non-illuminating red plastic button but lower profile
    [IMG][IMG][IMG]
in Rebels it does faintly light up and TCW there are blue lights in addition to them, but there's only so much room I can do that'll be taken up by two extra wires if I keep with the lightup buttons

for that price you could buy a custom installed one.
