I don't have Siege Megatron anymore since I used part of him to make a custom, but he's a tiny bit taller than Siege/Earthrise Prime so I'll use him as a comparison.

 

I would love that! Probably not but it would be nice. I think you're right though, probably a Galvatron retool. It's a nice base figure for him so I'm ok with that too.

Wondering if it'll be a leader class (just not a leader figure) because of all the extra armor bits and weapons (if they do that) Sorta like Shockwave and Astrotrain.

 

the most logical assumption, to avoid from setting oneself up for disappoint and then blaming takara for the disappointment (like people with the netflix magnus and blaming hasbro for not living up to their expectations) is simply to assume itll be a voyager headmaster until takara says otherwise

 

Also...looking at the top of the head, it doesn't look like there's arms at the top of his helmet, so fingers crossed even harder that the Headmaster gimmick is gone.

I agree but it is unlikely. But look at it this way, this is a backward animated reference as Animated's Megatron was designed off of Super Megatron. Probably the only reason why I might pick him up.

Much as I did not care for Star Convoy, this is a must have, loved that design. But pity if he is just a voyager... he should be larger. 
Fun fact btw, Animated Megatron was sort of modelled after Zone\'s Super Megatron.

About the Armada Optimus Prime new mold: No decision as to whether to put him in Masterpiece, Generations, or another line. It hasn’t been canceled but nothing has been decided what to do with him as they wanted to show the prototype to gauge interest.

Same, but blegh on that name. I preferred Guiltaur over gilthor. Guiltaur sounds like a monster infused with the guilty sins of your past. Gilthor sounds like Thor fused with Aquaman, and not the cool one either.....

I fear my love of obscure Transformers is going to make me want Super Megatron once he's revealed. Also I wouldn't be surprised if he's been de-Headmaster'd, if the torso is all-new then there's no need to retain the original mould's gimmick.

Oh man, I'd be all over that! Which reminds me, I really need to pick up volume 1 of Transformers: The Manga, was going to ask my local(ish) comic shop if they could get it in but, well, Coronavirus happened.

 

I think at this point it's only a matter of time before we do see Guiltar being made since we already got two major characters from Battlestars made anyway. Since we know that they'll use an Optimus mold for Guiltar's base it's a question on which Optimus they'll use. Would they use Either the Siege or Earthrise Optimus for the base?

 

Anyone else here thing we might get a Grandus eventually? Next commander class has to be a Decepticon no exceptions, but it would be cool to see him released on the side or something down the road, hell even a retool of Titans Soundwave would be enough for most i think! Ive seen some customs done using that mold and they seem to turn out pretty well, and since they used the POTP Prime for Star Convoy it wouldnt be too absurd or out of date. I just want my massive square lad.
