Hot Link's deco looks great. Possibly my favorite SIEGE Seeker deco.

 

C'mon wave 2.....give me more Seekers!

 

I will be shocked, SHOCKED, if the two (hypothetical) wave 2 voyagers aren't Optimus and either Bitstream or Sunstorm.

 

You and me both.  

 

I'd like to see Sunstorm reserved for an Earthrise Seeker repaint, personally.

 

honestly ill be shocked if one isnt soundwave with buzzsaw and a ravage repaint

 

Glad I chose to not order the Magnus Box. I'm perfectly happy with Siege Magnus.

I'm really excited about Hotlink, though. The Seekers are my favorite Cons. I'd be over the damn moon with a Sunstorm or Slipstream.

My 126 dollars worth of Netflix WFC figures is scheduled to release and ship next week  

 

Like most others, i think it wouldve been nice to have a delta magnus repaint.
if the deco on this magnus was more sensible (aka not all over the place) then it wouldve been more tolorable, it just looks like someone smeared black/dark gray all over magnus

 

I dont know what to think about this. On one hand i like the new magnus but also dont think its as different as it could be from the original release. Kinda like hound and chromia from this netflix line. The other still the same character repaints look nice enough for me to buy, (love the finish on megatron) and almost everyone that cares about this netflix line wants the hotlink and scrapface. They never said that the deco on magnus was the spoiler but revealing him instantly couldve accidentally shown what actually is spoilers. Either way the series hasn\'t come out yet so perhaps it\'ll make sense later

 

The set was clearly labeled as Ultra Magnus from the start. I don't know why people were expecting Delta Magnus, an entirely separate obscure character.

 

Not expecting. Hoping. Big difference.

Understand that Hasbro has never acknowledged Delta Magnus, just Japan. So there's no reason to believe that Ultra Magnus couldn't simply be re-deco'ed as Delta Magnus and still keep the name.

To be fair, all those wish lists came about because Hasbro decided to not show the figure itself in any of the marketing material.

I still want this but even I'm wondering why they didn't.

 

youre right, they didnt show it, however the product description called the figure ultra magnus. not delta magnus, not decepticon ultra magnus, nothing but plain old ultra magnus. there was nothing to support those theories and people treated them like they were facts

 

I really think the proper way to handle this would've been selling Ultra Magnus in a window box, but with a small "spoiler box" of accessories included - this would be Rung, the putty and the Energon cubes. It would've been better to be up-front about Magnus just being painted in the same style as the rest of the line, but they could've still kept the mystery element attached to the "spoiler" items.

 

Or just sell Rung blind boxed separately

 

Agreed. Would've tamped down the speculation. Although that wouldn't have spurred as many pre-orders. I'm sure Walmart is happy.

 

Exactly. Had they done that it wouldn't feel so frustrating. So why Hasbro felt the need to do what they did makes no sense other then poor marketing.

 

The Rung figure reminds me of the clear Arms Micron (TF Prime) figures that kept getting released in Japan. We have 5 of the clear sword bots from that series.
