Started of as the Starscream figure. I gave him a new head, fusion canon, and filled in the hollow back thighs with aluminum foil and putty, and a straight repaint. And there it is. A jet Earth mode Megatron. This quarantine is making me get back to my customs to keep me busy. This is figure 2. More to come...
Looks really cool ...except of the cannon. It's just too stubby and lacks detail IMO. AND the feet. The feet of this mold just look ridiculous. But of course you are not to blame for this
You’d usually think that putting a megatron head on a seeker body wouldn’t work out that well. Turns out it actually can work. Well played
Lol you made a combiner wars megatron that you didn’t make a combined mode for it. just like the tank version.
Well I didn't "make" the combiner wars figure. Hasbro did. I only used the Combiner Wars figure to do a custom Megatron.
Probably because the base mold's too chunky to be Starscream (and way too masculine to be Elita One, while we'r eat it). This looks really good. I'm getting a Machine Wars vibe from the choice of alt mode, and the silver works way better than standard gray. The fusion cannon's a little short, but TfP Megatron set that precedent, so I don't see a problem.
Very nicely done. The silver paintjob really makes it sing. Love the Machine Wars feels here; it even has the right style head for that. A longer, sleeker fusion cannon, perhaps the Gen WFC deluxe Megatron's would suit this pretty well with a jet mode, but I'll admit the big stubby fusion cannon rather suits this body's unique bulk rather well.
Possessed Digit, when was the last time you made a custom figure that looked this good? He just used the mold to make a custom figure and all you guys can do is gripe and nitpick about it? It's a awesome paint job as per your usual method, man. Came out really good.
Thanks but I don't need one. The custom one I made for this one is fine for mine. Use it for your custom.
