I kinda like some of these for their dopey cartoon design. Reminds me of the (unintentional) humor of G1.

Neither am I. But when a line is as obviously cartoon-centric as this one, I don't bother fighting it.

    (Although I would like a Marvel-colored Ratchet)

    These aren't Action Masters!

THIS I do agree with. If they're going for cartoon-accurate, giving Rumble toy-Frenzy colors isn't the way to go. He should indeed have more purple (or lilac, as you said) to him.

I have a lot of problems with Capitalism, but my favourite is the idea that companies are somehow deserving of my money.

If they fail, they fail. No skin off my back.
It's not my responsibility to prop up the ego of some guy who thought "toys that look bad intentionally" was a viable business plan.

...That's...not what they set out to do. I actually know people at Super7. They made these because people wanted these toys and because no-one would make them. They're normal people, not 2-dimensional businessmen. Sure, you don't have to support anyone's ego. But you might not want to be responsible for real, kind people losing their only job.
Now, I know that's an exaggeration, but I haven't talked to them in months. They just discontinued their most successful line. I don't know how they're doing financially. You just don't know what'll happen, but you can try and be supportive. We should all try and support the underdog for being the only one who will ever make these. At the end of the day, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't blast your opinion everywhere when you have no justification. If you don't want to buy the toy, don't buy the toy.

Damn, that Alpha Trion looks sick, like it might actually even blend in with a G1 shelf thanks to its deliberate retro simplicity. There's a pop culture memorabilia shop near me that tends to have Super 7 stuff in stock, I really hope they get some of these in the near future.

Man, say what you will about these, but seeing a Skyfire toy actually called Skyfire is almost worth it on its own :lol

I think Super 7 is doing an extraordinary job with all these toy lines. I personally like this Transformers that are very accurate to the cartoon. I prefer a figure like this than one that transform into a vehicle but doesn't resemble a bit the cartoon character... I always wanted to have accurate cartoon character figures...

I received an email from BBTS that Super7 is delaying wave 3 until 2021 but preorders would still stand for now. Anyone have more insight/info on that?

PixelDan had an interview with Brian Flynn that gives some insight into how far everything is pushed back because of COVID-19.

Transformers wave 3 isn't mentioned specifically, but it makes sense.
