    I don't get it... Is all of that gunmetal paint supposed to be battle damage? Like... did he get in a bad fight with a welding torch or something? It doesn't really make much sense with the placement. Or, perhaps it's a really bad attempt at dramatic shading?

    Either way, it's a mess. I don't see why Hasbro thought this was a good idea.

    Bahahahahaha. Omg this is hilarious. Everyone hoping for super convoluted schemes of decepticon Delta Magnus with Nemesis Prime inside and blah blah blah and it ends up just being dirty Magnus.

    Oh man... Maybe people will finally settle down and stop thinking that their super intricate desires to have every niche fulfilled in one figure is probably not what Hasbro has in mind...

    I can’t say I’m surprised (I’m slightly underwhelmed but not surprised) at what this looks like. Just like the other figures in this sub-line, it’s just a simple repaint.

    yea, honestly decepticon mirage makes sense given the siege fan vote story, decepticon magnus doesn't, even if that is megatrons plan in the show. the general premise is that optimus ejects the allspark before megatron can ever use it

    It's pretty obvious that he's been splashed by the same 'mysterious compound' that the energon cubes are in. It's the exact same color.

    Okay, but... if you have a missile launcher, and the missile is a different color than the launcher, and your weapon gets covered in grey goo... are the missiles going to magically be left clean?

    I don't love the paint deco on Ultra Magnus, but given that I haven't gotten the original Siege release yet I might pay the extra $10 and get this guy plus some additional accessories. I'd have like a more G1 toy accurate color scheme or a Magnus with a visor but this doesn't look terrible IMO.
