I had been buying lots of G1, the majority of which I was keeping in storage until I moved house.

I decided with the current situation there is a chance that the move may never happen or at least not for a while, so I took some out to fiddle with. My young son caught a glimpse of my KO Black Optimus Prime and decided he wanted to play with it along with my G2 Optimus Prime. Even his mum got involved with parking little cars onto the headquarters mode trailers, shooting vehicles from the ramp and firing the missiles. It's now one of the best Transformers memories I have with my son.

I also had a look at a G1 Reflector for the first time and opened a brand new Encore Metroplex. Looking forward to figuring out what will be the next thing I uncover.

G2 Optimus is my favorite version of that Optimus. He looks really awesome with that black trailer, and the battery pack which 'completes' the trailer. Along with the double missile launchers attached.

That's a nice collection. I never realised there were so many Lambos until now. There's your seven plus...

    Deep Cover
    Cordon
    Breakdown
    Freewheeler
    Motorvator Flame
    G2 Gobot Optimus Prime
    G2 Gobot Sideswipe
    G2 Firecracker
    RID REV

I recommend you pick up Fansproject Breakdown as he scales nicely with the Diaclones.

Well you're doing better than I am. I'm sorry I didn't pick up Deep Cover years ago when he first came out and wasn't ridiculously expensive. Same with Tiger Tracks.

If I could afford it I'd buy a second G2 Sideswipe and Tiger Tracks to parts swap a custom Diaclone REV and a second Deep Cover and Red Alert to custom Breakdown and Scamper.

I might be wrong but I always felt the success of the Baymovie drove Transformers prices up on EBay. It definitely contributed to it.

Nice! Is that a Sound Label White Optimus? Could you please let me know where the Energon Axe came from

The colours are more electric and the huge "Optimus Prime" stickers on the trailer seem quite typical of the loud 90's style. It's the first version I have ever personally owned, but my son threw it on the floor for no reason (no history of doing it either) and broke the always-seems-to-be-broken cab bumper on the first day :(

Yes it's a white Device Label Optimus Prime.

I got the axe as part of a third party upgrade kit.

Aren't the G1 box art the same for both the Hasbro and Japanese releases? Lol.

Edit: nope. I learn something new everytime. Lol

Never realized how naked Sunstreaker looked without his stickers.
