I hope your guys are right because outside the TFCon slides, I was worried that even in April was too soon to see a FT product.

I'm getting burned out on Legend seeker repaints and need some MP love!!! Outside of waiting for Toon MP+ Smokescreen, I think DX9 Capone was the last new MP figure I've gotten so far and I had to wait 3 months for it.

Maybe the old design had shit articulation, and FT wants to improve their designs for both look of bot/alt mode and a bit more articulation. Just a random guess of course.

No man thats totally plausible. It just seemed like such a easy design i would of thought it would have been out. Im saying i think there must have been a big oversight or error in the original design for it to take this long.

The next TFCon is July and fairly early in July at that. Even if the Con doesn't happen the update should still happen via the Panel like we got on Sunday for the March TFCon. October is 2 TFCons from now. TFcon - Toronto, Canada

I noticed that too. I specifically put "TFCon July 2020" and Google still brought up the US site with October's convention first. Probably something in Google's "logic" that simply elevated the US location even if it was less accurate to my search.

"Coming in April" does not mean April 1st. Could be end of April.

I believe I've read the people who run TFCon are Toronto based which is why it always there. I've seen some discussion on doing Vancouver, but they don't seem highly interested in coming out west to begin with. The US one moves and they have only gone west once ever. They seem to really like Chicago, it seems to be there every other year. I know some east coast people still think of Chicago as "west".

They need to come to Atlanta for once. Atlanta is among the top convention cities of the south. Home of Dragon Con and many others.

Is that likely to be a 3D digital design or an actual prototype do you know? To be honest I didn't see much wrong with what we've been shown so far... quite liked it to be honest

Hard to say until we see the new version, but I would guess they found something in the physical figure they missed in render. For example I believe they determined their Blitzwing was too back heavy and they couldn't resolve it for him to stand. In the redesign the tank treads have clearly been moved from the backpack to his legs which would reduce the back weight.

I just got a notice from Oh My Primus that they're now taking pre-orders for Chomp. I'm curious if this means he'll be out "soon", or this is more of the Blitzwing situation, where it's a pre-order for something that's been announced a while ago with no actual date? Either way, he looks cool, and can't wait for him!

He's had his full price announced for a while so he's probably just getting the same price bump as Blitzwing and Trailbreaker for a new pre-order. Also there's gonna be news about him at the next TFCon so maybe he could come out this year I guess.
