3A 18" Evasion Mode Prime

 

I feel the same about Kup and Ironhide. They're similar sure, but they're different enough to work. Plus Kup's design is pure 80s fun.

 

Regrettably, I got the Big Powered set because I couldn't find just Sonic Bomber. Dai Atlas is cool, but Roadfire is awful.

Knew that (well, the latter) and it has completely no impact on me caring about Blurr in any way. Perhaps even the opposite. "Star Wars The Last Jedi" is a longer movie than "Empire Strikes Back", the ships in it are bigger than in ESB, the walkers in it are bigger than in ESB, but I still consider it a really bad movie that I have no intention of ever watching again. Likewise, I don't care about those records since they have no impact on my opinion of the character except confirming he's just about being fast and talking fast. ​

Considering the post you replied to was me saying that I consider Blurr to be a poor copy of Bluestreak, I'm a bit surprised. Calling him a poor copy should make clear that there are no redeeming elements as far as I'm concerned.

These characters are both defined by the fastest of their time and talking a lot and fast. Except with Blurr that's all there is (even made clear through those records for Blurr), while Bluestreak had a trauma to explain his behaviour which to me makes him a more interesting character, and actually looks like a car. Bluestreak is the Original, Blurr is just the same only less interesting.

A figure that's gray (or silver) with black in altmode and added dark gray and red in robot mode is bland compared to a figure that's different shades of blue and just blue and nothing but blue?


In the end, does it matter? You apparently like Blurr, I don't and think that's he's too close to Bluestreak who I find more interesting and better looking. Each his opinion and likes.

Nice! I don't think I how awesome the G1 toy's look is until until now. I also didn't realize how inspired by the G1 toy head the TFDW set is.
