    Thanks! I watched it after my parts came in.

    It was .... weird, but fun. I was disappointed that Roadfire wasn’t in it, but it definitely helps to see that he uses the Z Sword more like a throwing weapon than an actual sword. Although, I think I’ve put enough money into this set, especially since my introduction to the character came through IDW. So if he gets a sword at all it’ll probably be a normal one.

    Love this set even now. The waist was never an issue even if it was barely floppy if that? I’m thinking of getting a second set.

    The shockwave lab Z sword looked cool at first but actual use was disappointing. The sword handle is not an actual peg and cannot be held stably that way. Forcing it will strip the paint (I used krylon gallery series uv archival spray to seal the metallic paint). There are 5mm ports to fit on the arm pegs, though.

    I would advise spraying clear coat to protect the paint job on 3d printed parts (2 thin coats should suffice).

    I also painted the missiles on mine:

    BBTS has a pre-order (currently sold-out) with estimated arrival in September. But I assume it's just found warehouse stock, rather than a new production run.
