After watching the video review, I'm in 100% agreement. But instead of FE Optimus, I'd go with the Beast Wars MPs.

Very nice that there's a peg on the left arm, but no shield... Also, is there any way to store the weapons in bot mode like you can on the Leader? I really wished Studio Series figures had more elements of transformation for purely cosmetics purposes. Like a step that could have hidden away one of the wheels on the legs because that's how the model is.

Looks absolutely fantastic! I can live without the cosmic rust gun but I’m definitely gonna need a third party shield.

    So could Ironhide. :confused2

I still don't know why they didn't have the middle of the back/roof kibble turn into the shield, which would leave him with (more accurate) smaller, tapering wings. Seems like such a simple missed opportunity. Maybe a future 3rd-party improvement.

Oh well; still looks fantastic overall!

After having watched the review, I think he looks a lot better than the photos let on. I'm glad that he isn't actually missing his hip skirt pieces, they just weren't folded out in the official photos. He looks pretty good, but I can't help but wish he was just a smidge bigger.

Well, it looks better than the previous promo pics, still wish the "cape" backpack looked better, but whatever.
what's really egregious, is leaving out his shield/rust gun. Even the cyberverse figure had that.

I so desperately wish they didn't make his chest a fully faux chest, but now that I know they put his actual windows underneath the piece, somehow it feels a lot better

I think it’s more like a Scavenger or Mixmaster situation where there’s detached parts to fit him in the box.

\"Robot mode shows a very compact backpack compared to the previous Dark Of The Moon Leader class toy.\"

The only reason he has a more compact backpack is because he doesn\'t have the gaint electronics block and the arm truck panels now form his sword.  And unlike the Studio Series one, the original leader figure actually has the doors form his chest, which I find so impressive even if he doesn\'t look exactly like the film, and the original doesn\'t simply have the front of the firetruck sit out on his lower back, too.  Sooooo yeah, I still love my DotM leader.  Probably will buy this guy too though.

Uh... No? The actual windows rest as kibble on his butt. Hope I didn't destroy this figure for you now haha ^^

I think you're right, but I don't see why he wouldn't fit in the package with this thing attached. Maybe anti warping precaution?

The windshield becomes back kibble. The side windows (the ones that form his chest in the movie design) end up folded onto this figure's chest, right underneath the faux chest windows/armor. I appreciate this transformation feature as well.

I mean, if they had included all that, and thrown some more silver paint here and there to be even more screen accurate, I'd probably buy it at that price. I wouldn't be happy paying that much, but I'd begrudgingly do so if it meant having a complete Sentinel without having to rely on 3rd party accessories. I mean I did buy the Voyager sized DotM SS Optimus that came with a trailer and is backwards compatible with SS Jetfire, that was packaged and sold as a Leader class figure, afterall.
