at last, managed to finish this after starting it in 2017.
the only mod done to the MP03G was to position the tailfin onto the calf section w/o sacrificing the altmode.
will explain the mod done in the next post.

That is so beautiful. I love the translucent gradients. How did you do that?

i'm using spraycans. just gradually as u would with an airbrush. there's a duotone application. purple first as base followed by blue. both are translucent colours. the base mold is MP03 ghost starscream

the tail fin is cut into 2 section. the top half is pegged back into the waist. while the bottom half is plugged into the calf using the existing screw hole (screw is discarded as the bottom half tailfin peg into each other like gundam kit).

O wow! I always thought a tf that can warp anywhere should be more powerful than whatever it is that skywarp uses his ability for :p

    great job!

Interesting take on a classic character. Would love to see more of him.
Skywarp was not my favorite character growing up. But he was my first Transformer.

Do you plan to add the gradient to the tailfins?

loved ur work, especially the TFAs

maybe u can check out my FB. not sure whether the link will work (as FB album/pic links tend not work as intended). there're plenty of other TF albums with wip stages.
    https://www.facebook.com/edmundbay/media_set?set=a.10212155705161599&type=3

there's some but towards more opaque finish. black/purple/bluish hues.

    on another note.
translucent plastics tend to be fragile.
i noticed some cracks and fixed them will putting the fig back together.
those cracks tend to be at high stress areas (hinges).
the arm/shoulder joint broke but fixable
(screwed from the other side as spine to hold it in space for durability)

part of the chest piece connected to the metal piece broke (small hinge), glued it to the main chest/boob.
not visible and transform as usual. cant really put the breakage in words.
i'm used to fixing TF so i didnt bother to take snapshots during fixing.
was abit pissed with the fragility of the pieces at that time.

there's an album on ways to fix TF in my FB as well
    * so dismantling these clear plastics is at ur own risk :p
