So this is my first Constructor and while I know the one I have(cell shaded) is a bit more tight due to the paint.....woah is he tight.

Trying to transform Bulldozer and the treads seem particularly fragile and I’m afraid I will brake them.

Yep. He’s damn tight and it scared me just to move scrapper’s shovel into place for combined mode. I’m selling mine. Don’t want it. Just not feeling it. I’ll be posting it here and on a FB group page for a good deal versus what you pay for the deluxe version from an overseas seller. Just waiting on the OG version to ship from TFS-express. They said there will be a small delay.

Congrats btw! He’s a really cool figure. It’s just that this one is just too damn tight and for me it’s a miserable experience just trying to move some of the bots.

Swap the arms around and you have a mirror image. Better yet display it in front of a mirror :D

Hmmm I love a lot Constructicons and my new Hercules , at the moment ,despite age works very well as 3rd party Devastator. Trasnforming Shovel in bot and vehicle mode compared to combiner,do you confirm that is very easy without fear of breaking something?Sorry for question is just that I'm more and more oriented to buy a Shovel alone as another MP Scrapper.

I should swap the arms and call him Bizarro Devy.

The cell shaded is so damn tight it’s scary. I had to use a lot of force to push his shovel down and into position for leg mode. Not fun at all and I’m selling him. This version is definitely meant for someone who will leave him in combined mode or for someone willing to transform him knowing very well something can snap from the pressure of moving the parts to transform. That’s my take. If it was me and I was looking for just scrapper, then perhaps a used one on eBay or on here. Given the current situation you might find people looking to unload one. I might add that getting all of them is truly magnificent and breathtaking and you might like getting the perfect edition or a used metallic one for combined mode. He’s just bad ass. Good luck in your decision

Does anyone know where I can get green thighs? The X "Perfect Edition" doesn't come with them so if anyone knows where I can get them it would be much appreciated.

They are like gold dust. You can soak the silver thighs in high % isopropyl alcohol and scrub the silver off. They are green plastic underneath.
If you go back a few pages there's pictures of it being done.

It's the same green plastic as the figure, so yes it does. People have posted images afterwards, further back in the thread, and it appears to match perfectly.
I'm yet to go it on my X version, but I will definitely be doing it

At first I was like oh shit, a red, white, and blue themed one. That'd be awesome. Then I was like, oh, you mean the orange turd.

Thanks very much for your help .Scrapper and Motormaster are some of my fav Tf's and for me is amazing having MP versions of them with combiners toys smaller because I've little space at home. For a MP to use sometimes as a toy,to transform,do you think Shovel is a good choice?I've read that you appreciate him a lot and I'd like to buy one also to transform him...hope that joints arent't too tight to damage him just for change from vehicle to bot and conversely ,hower in Emgo review a thing scares me.

Under both arms there is a black pin that must be moved forward to block arms, also If I don't move them, these 2 arms should remain on?I'd be afraid to transform these pins because I noticed how many G1 Mindwipe have that piece broken and would be a problem.

I am sure others will chime in on this question. For me personally, I enjoy them for their combined mode. I have yet to have them for a long period of time in individual mode. I just like Devastator Constructor mode more than anything. It will come down to a matter of preference. Best thing to do is buy him and see if you like him. There are lots of different opinions on the forum. Some like him for combiner mode, some for bot mode and some for both. There are also others who like gravity builder. I like the TW version because he scales well for combined mode, but IMHO there is a trade off because they don't scale all that well in individual mode. Best of luck in your decision.

I like him in Devastator mode followed by vehicle modes. Honestly, I haven't even transformed them to the individual robot modes yet. I forgot.

I like them a lot in robot mode... just wish we could get some G1 accurate heads for some of them.

I have my dirty version in combined mode because the tight tolerances made it unenjoyable to transform. I ended up keeping my original yellow set to have one to transform because I do enjoy their alt and bot modes.

Yeah, this is one of the rare times the alt modes are iconic enough to have them displayed that way over robot mode.

If I had 2, I’d keep one combined with the vehicle modes out in front.

I like the look of most of them, but yeesh, that Bonecrusher head sculpt is rough. Also, they all have light-piping when most of them have things behind their head.
