Shouldn't Smyths be shutting down really ?

WILKO told me they might shut down their entrie ONLINE and store ordering system shortly and send all the staff home, which would be awkward if everyone decides to do that sort of thing. But a dedicated toystore really doesn't have an excuse to remain open that I can think of.

 

I was thinking the exact same. Maybe it arrived as they shutdown. The government can't legally enforce the shutdown until Thursday from what I've heard so a few places might be trying to chance it. Fingers crossed we only hear about online sightings for a while here  

 

So frustrating that it shows up at my local Smyths just as we enter lockdown! Siege ‘Skywarp’ is more elusive than the real thing! Hope we don’t have to wait too long for shipment. I also kind of wanted to see the Megatron is person before shelling out £40.

Anyway- much bigger fish to fry now.I hope all are well under the circumstances.

 

Just to share my own experience with these Netflix Siege voyager figures, I saw that both were in stock at a store about half hour away from myself, so I reserved them. Was ready to head out and get them, but saw the store would be shut earlier because of everything going on and I wouldn't make it in time.

Then we had the Boris announcement last night, meaning I wasn't going to go out for them as they weren't essential, so was going to call the store today and discuss it. Before I had chance, and I think this is just a necessary action they've taken and I've got no issue with it, I got an email to say the reservation was cancelled, doubtless because of the closure.

Yes! ID Toys just now confirmed shipment of my ER Hoist along with all other pre-ordered deluxes.

 

Supposedly Games and Cards are expecting the Siege Rumble and Ratbat "micromasters" in April, which they have listed individually rather than forcing you to buy it with the other micromasters pack (which is also listed individually for anyone in the opposite situation!)

 

Yes, I had three assortment boxes in today and have 10 more due next week.

 

I have 8 boxes (32 of each) ordered. Hopefully they will all arrive. They don't usually let me down.
