There was no official combination set with the SHF Spidey. We just meant that this time around, we'd be able to buy the GX-33 along with a poseable Toei Spider-Man figure.

Not an all-in-one package but both announced and releasing at the same time so I ordered both "in one shot".

Yeah, I saw that yesterday. I'm not sure that it's announcing a reissue of the 80s Tetsujin/Black Ox, though. I could be wrong, but I haven't heard any official news yet. The rest of the magazine scan is focusing on the 60s Black Ox R.

I wouldn't be surprised if the 80s versions were reissued eventually, with the way Bandai's doing things. Maybe this is a hint.

My $90 estimate on the bracelet is going by the normal price for similar Bandai Proplica offerings. From the Ultraman Gun, to the Star Sheriff Sword, to the Sailor Moon sticks and Dragonball Radar, and the Green Dragon Dagger, etc the normal price point is somewhere between $90-$140 USD.

I was looking at some pictures of the GX-33R, and one showing the accessories stowed under the stand caught my attention. Yeah they have stripped out all the spring fire gimmicks. the Head Crest AND the Rocket Fists. And replaced them with effect parts that stow under the display stand. The loss of the shooting head crest is probably a good idea. The loss of the firing Rocket Punches not so much.

Yeah, I get it. I paid a pretty penny for some Super Sentai toys for my kids and those aren't even Proplica level...just toys with lights and sounds.

The picture of the stand that you're referring to is from the Super Mini-Pla version. If you look at HLJ's listing for the GX-33R, everything's the same as the first release, except for the bracelet replacing the static Spidey figure.

I doubt we'd ever get SOCs of Gundams, since the Metal Build line already kinda occupies that niche.

A cool thing that could come out of a rx-78-2 in the SoC Chogokin or DX Chogokin line would be an homage to the old Clover RX-78-2 DX super combination set, keeping the wonky proprtions and everything. Granted these had little to no diecast but i always still felt that some of the orginal toys for the gundam franchise should still be recognized and it would've been nice if they came out last year specifically for Gundam's 40th

Anyone interested in vintage Godaikin? Friend from work wants to get out of it.

How is the plastic on the vintage Godaikin stuff these days? Typically brittle? I had a vintage Vehicle Voltron years ago and was kind of afraid to touch him.

    Also,

Haven’t really messed with them. I really don’t deal with vintage stuff. I figured I would mess with them if people here were into it... otherwise eBay.

Funny my brother had that Dyjupiter. Those ship carriers are durable as heck. I have one still trucking along... Forget its name now though. Transforms from a blobby spaceship to aircraft carrier type.

Dyjupiter is like a gantry for Dynaman. Basically carries the parts. This guy has that with Dynaman and the same set-up with GoggleV and Goggle Caesar.

Yeah growing up we saw the robots that the carriers could house and always were jealous of them. We would go so far as to put other Japanese robots in there and imagine they were the correct ones. I would be lying if I said I would not be interested in these, but I really shouldn't buy then since I'm running of display room. They would be stuffed into my closet till I made room.
