Eh..... not really. Those clear parts as highlighted there are actually the backside of the real front bumper with the real headlights, front rollbar and front grill. If you want to paint that in yellow, the real front headlights in alt mode would appear to be completely yellow too.

That kinda sucks, but aside from the slightly loose hip balljoints my copy is pretty much perfect in terms QC. It still sucks that yours has some of thlose issues however, and I do wish that you can at least fix some of those issues yourself or get a second copy as the figure itself isn't too badly designed.

I do agree that the arms in robot mode being visible at the undercarriage in alt mode is a bit silly looking, however; But considering the way this figure transforms, I just can't see any better ways to deal with the arms for this figure's intended price point without further compromising the alt mode.

About the "head on a pivot" thing, it's not exactly the same thing as on MP Hound; it's a bit weird looking, but it play more of a role in transformation to allow the head to unfold flat enough to be tucked inside during transformation.

    Pros:
    * Nice robot mode, with relatively little backpack for a vehicular Studio series fig.
    * Decent jeep mode, with not a lot of robot kibble, aside from the obvious robot arms underneath.
    * Transformation feels clever, with much of the robot actually coming from the Jeep parts. Even the faux-grill chest is kinda clever how it swaps out with the actual grill.

    Cons:
    * Some loose bits on mine around the legs/hips.
    * Knee jointing make them look gappy when bent.
    * Transformation has bits that get in each others' way if you're not careful.

Overall: I don't have the new Camaro 'Bee, but this is my favorite Studio Series 'Bee thus far.

So it seems like the loose hip joints might be a quite widespread QC issue. Mine are a little loose, but not enough that I thought it worth mentioning in my initial review.

Are the hips as loose as WW2 bee?

I don't own that one to compare, but Offroad Bee's hips aren't super loose.

Mine will hold a pose fine (even on one leg), but if you shake the figure they move around a bit, whereas the arms stay rock still in position.

I wouldn't call the hips overly loose of floppy, more like they move a little bit easier than I'm comfortable with.

The hip balljoints on my copy are also a tiny bit loose just strstraight out of packaging, but they're still tight enough to hold a pose and it's fixable with some thin layer of superglue on the balljoints.

I am loving this figure! He's small and really fun, just like Jazz. Dammit now I have another Bee that I really like. This is probably my favorite one up there with SS49 07 Camaro Bee. Definitely worth picking up even if you're not a completionist. Plus the lack of a roof in his alt mode makes him a much cleaner figure than a lot of others this size *COUGHCOUGHCYBERTRONCLIFFJUMPER*

Oh and for those of you who didn't know, you can shove the blaster into his back in bot mode, which looks a LOT better than where the instructions tell you to put it. And everything still tabs together fine:

Does anyone have the same quality issues as mine?
    20200405_114136.jpg
On his right leg there's a stress mark it seems due to the part in between the swivel joints either being larger than the slot or the slot being slightly smaller.

Mine had loose hips and one arm of the windscreen assembly had broken in the box because it had too much paint on it. A dab of superglue and some nail polish and he’s good as new, an excellent little figure. I was blown away by the CC Bumblebee and this one is even better.

A nice little fig, I just kinda wish he had the battle mask face. Definitely my favorite SS Bee I have. My only concern is the transformation joint to flip his head back is so tight I'm afraid it will snap, but no problems yet.

What do you think of this? IMG_20200406_155311727_HDR~3.jpg Mix black with brown as the color they used is like oily metallic.
