So 6 characters left. I'm guessing Optimus/Diac, Megatron/Doomshot, and one other returning character

I'm thinking Topspin/Freezeout to round out the wreckers.

This card game is cool and everything, but why does it seem like every single individual trading card gets a front page news post? It seems insane. Or at least inane.

Couldn't there just be a weekly roundup post? Wouldn't that be easier to digest for the fans instead of reading 14 separate articles per week?

How many Super Rare cards ARE there in this series? This is getting ridiculous, you've got a Super Rare TF card but the Stratagem card for the character (which is useless without the TF card itself) is an uncommon...

Personally I like them. They actually get bundled together by day. So it’s 7 posts a week. It keeps me updated on new releases all in 1 post

    Eleventy-billion :p

It's only 7. It's not that big a deal considering pull rates for this set has increased to 1:30.

Oh, I didn't know about the increased pull rate. Well, I suppose that's not THAT bad then.

There's only supposed to be 3 characters that have already been printed in other sets. 2 are Kup & Optimus Prime. Could the 3rd be yet another Megatron?

It’s still an average of 1 per box so if you want all 6, you are looking at approximately that many boxes. I think 4 was a good limit.

between 6 SRTs, people dropping out of the game, and the current world situation, I’m losing interest but trying to stay positive

The amount of SRTs in this wave is crazy at 7. Then again they aren\'t expecting most of the fans to go out and buy a whole booster box or are they? Worse buying multiples which I can only assume completists would do.

As a quasi-completist if you play your hand right you can find a good eBay auction. I managed to get all the wave 1, 2 and 3 RTs and SRTs I didn\'t have except Blitzwing and King Starscream for less than 2 booster boxes.

Not sure why, but to each their own ...

Not sure if you're new to collectible/trading card games. It is not uncommon for people not just to buy boxes, but cases of them (multiple boxes at once). Some do it for collecting, others to ensure a complete play set for them to deck build with, and others for the resell value.

To be fair, to get all of the super rares in the past waves, you usually had to buy a case of six boxes to have the highest chance at getting them all since A. the odds were around one SR every two boxes and B. a case of boxes had almost no chance of repeats because of packing printing order.

If those odds truly hold the same, this will be no different from other waves. But, as always, the best option for any TCG, especially the TF one since it's insanely cheap comparatively to say Magic, YGO, or Pokemon, is to buy one or two boxes and then buy what you don't get individually.

Because there’s only a certain amount of hunting and cash I am willing to spend on a hobby. I think 4 was a good amount on both a collecting and cost front.

like you said, to each their own but they are close to my “I don’t need this hobby” line.
