I happened to encounter a coworker in a Target last week. I am currently on (unpaid) medical leave (nothing contagious); he was on lunch break from working at home. He and I work in a business sector considered “essential,” so the few employees that can’t work from home still have to go in to the office. (I imagine it’s close to a ghost town, though.)

And I ordered Ratbat/Rumble from a Japanese seller. Was refunded: out of stock. Ordered from another one. Asked me to cancel: miscounted their stock by one. :(

Had to "borrow" a couple rolls from the inlaws. That was embarassing. My wife just finished another round of chemo today and I burned about half my paycheck on groceries. No TP anywhere.

Legit, stuff like paper towels or napkins won't break down in the toilet like TP and will clog your drain.

Hey folks. Target just cancelled all my preorders from the BOGO-50% promo from toyfair. No reason given, just a "technical issue" that I'm calling to find out more about now.

Anyone else get shafted like this?

Edit: Fuck target, man. Called their customer service line and the guy just said "the payment was declined" and hung up on me. Prick. Called the bank, target actually processed the transaction with two holds, the second one eventually fell off but because they had it on their twice, they took it to cancel both holds.

Dammit. So instead of $200 for the preorders I had on promo now it's gonna be $300+ somewhere else. Or maybe I'll just wait until Weijiang and Black Mamba offer better KO's. I'm pissed.

    Yeah...dangit. sux true.
At least it'll refund my card. Maybe right now isn't the best time to splurge. Or it'll give me a safety net for the PO I dropped on Zetacron at ShowZ.

My old man just got out of a critical surgery, a good friend of mine lost their job today...in perspective this is just whiny butthurting because of their ineptitude...but at least I have the important things in life.

I hear ya. Crosses my mind at least half a dozen times a day. I'm one of the lucky ones who still has a job, but still have to go into the office. Thankfully we're a small business and there's only 3-4 of us in the office at any time....but it only takes one....(and there I go again).

Yeah, their circulating / repeating authorization policy played hell for me last year. That alone was enough for me to say the hell with them on preorders, Then add in their delays......I'll still give them money on instock stuff. But i will not preorder from them EVER. Last year taught me there WILL be other sales when stuff is in stock. I wont get it at release, but patience should prevail and at least a 25% saving will be found somewhere on most stuff (barring any exclusives, you gotta jump at first chance on that action)

The Netflix WFC stuff is supposed to be shipping / available next week. Hopefully the website will got a fresh allotment and I'll be able to get a few shipped to me. Having serious thoughts about necessities and trips to the toy aisle (while very important to me lol ) just arent making the list

EDIT: just checked the website.....release on the WFC Netflix stuff looks like it has been pushed back to June now

I'm relieved to see it wasn't just me, was thinking maybe I did something wrong but seemed unlikely since I've been preordering stuff for damnear 20 years without a hitch. Still sucks that their online and customer service is still learning how to build fire, they really need to get with the times if they're going to remain competitive post-coronapocalypse.

I'm the designated hunter in my tribe. I'm the one that must venture forth into the wild kingdom of Walmarts and Dierbergses to bring back bacon and other provisions for the week. With shelves so cleaned out, a typically 10-minute visit easily turns into an hour whilst looking for substitute goods. I have not seen anything new on shelves since late Feb.

I think Best Buy stores are restocking. I didn't realize that the Starscream listing on their site is actually for both Grapple and Starscream. I ordered one online and called the store to make sure they pulled Grapple for me. Curbside pickup and when I got home I carefully ripped open the box, dumped the innards out without touching anything, and then disposed of the outer packaging. I normally keep that, but in this case rather than trying to scrub it down with clorox wipes, I just tossed it and ended up with a (hopefully) safe to play with toy.

Also, this means that there is probably a Voyager Earthrise Starscream at the Bridgeton Best Buy if anyone is looking for him...

On a whim, checked out Bridgeton Walmart. Looked behind a Studio Series Shockwave and found...EARTHRISE PRIME. WOO~!

They have an Astrotrain, Grapple, and Ironworks as well.
