Or having pieces that flop around and get in the way of things and to that extent, the figure being prone to fall apart (Which I know Fans-Toy’s is pretty good at keeping things extra solid, only exception being Rouge)

The birb boye may be a absolute sadistic serial killer in the comics, but in the cartoon he’s just a recolour of another good birb boye

Not sure if this has been addressed yet but: how big will the cassettes be? I would prefer them to be a similar size to the MMC cassettes even at the potential sacrifice of not fitting in Soundwave's chest. If Fanstoys can find a way to make the cassettes MMC size and fit in Soundwave's chest then all the better.

@dalianjj approximately how large will the Cassette bots be? And will they come with Soundwave or be sold separately?

 

Excellent job here - I wasn't interested before in getting this until I saw it was even more Toy accurate than MP-13. Now I'm in. My only question is why go the extra mile here but skimp out on Jazz, Huffer, and Brawn. The first needs his wings and shoulder cannon, the latter two their battlemask faces.

 

Impressive. Poses better than MP-13 and the weapon storage is cool. Hopefully they go with the hybrid metallic look they've used before instead of an all toon deco

 

There are multiple pictures of them right next to Acoustic Wave, and it's pretty likely that Acoustic Wave will come up to MP Megatron's shoulder just like MP Soundwave and what's shown on the scale chart.

Where's the face mask?

 

I'm in no way dissatisfied with my mp13 but the toy version details on this guy have me tempted. And I love the battery compartment for his weapons. Still hate the tape door, though - it's super obnoxious that you have what is clearly meant to be the door but then when it opens, it brings a couple millimetres of the surrounding plastic with it. Toon accuracy isn't that important (also, if they were going to make a separate toy version tape door, why didn't they just make it bigger so it covers the entire compartment instead of sticking with the extra lip thing on both doors?)

Ravage is looking much better - not the papercraft version we saw before - and that's a clever looking transformation. Liking Rumble and Frenzy and I'm loving the wing shape and articulation on Laserbeak. Also, it may be the angle but it looks like Laserbeak's beak is a little slimmer than the previous render - doesn't look like a puffin anymore. I hope the tapes are available separately - I probably won't replace mp13 but I could see myself getting some or all of the tapes if they turn out good.

 

what's with the two versions? are they releasing two different molds???

also i'm definitely not sold on ravage, and that's one of the key selling points with me. that looks like a dog, not a jaguar. proportions are all wrong in my eyes. they need to slim down that torso, especially at the back.
