(Note that video said figure is called Motif, but previously in ReMix line, Motif was the lion tape, so it seems the names might still need sorting out.)

 

So is that like a Reformatted version of one of the REmix cassettes? Seem to recall Motif was one of the names being used for the Autobot Eject and Rewind.

That looks like hot garbage. What's going on with the shoulder guard proportions?

 

They're suppose to be very long? what exactly is wrong with them?

 

They are going to be released together as a two-pack WITH A HOLDING HANDS attachment! It was said in the video! I AM BEYOND EXCITED!! This just made my entire week. They were my favorite in the comics! I literally shouted out loud.

 

Main thing is just that shoulder pads tend not to look good if they're level with the torso (unless you're trying to evoke a poncho look). Looks like there are pin joints to raise the pads at an angle, like the comic art, so that's good.

 

They're so flush with the torso, I'd be surprised if they could raise, especially at an angle that looks good.

 

shoulder pads are definitely a bit too big for my tastes and I wish the torso was longer, but it looks good otherwise. Having handled the chromedome, I'm really excited for this set.

If I end up not loving the Rewind, that'll be disappointing, but I have the nonnef one and I love the proportions on it, so I suppose they'll be fine together.

also,did we even see hes alt mode in mtmte ?
Not that i care about the alt mode but its probably the reason he looks like that, maybe non transformable would be better MMC

In MTMTE he's supposed to turn into a dataslug which I think looks like a USB stick.

The Occular Max version will be a cassette.

The shoulder pads look a bit awkward on Rewind, hopefully they can move upward or outwards or something. But what really bothers me are those hasbro hands.

 

I’m really hoping for different hands too. Maybe @RVDA can fill us in. There was that hand-holding looking hand right? So maybe there is hope.

Seeing how tiny legend sized stuff have better looking hands (and multiple swappable options) than the ones we’re seeing here.

 

I was expecting more IDW slim and curved proportions for Rewind, like Chromedome's, it looks too G1ish except for the shoulder pads.

Indicates a lot more shoulder articulation, looks quite nice here!

 

Yeah, as I said, it looks better the instant the shoulder line isn't a flat plane.

 

The shoulder pads themselves can rotate on a pin, though they can't move up vertically. Still, it helps. And yeah, this guy has some good range, butterfly joints as well.

I suggested doing different hand sets. Don't know if it'll happen though. But for now the hand holding one is the only other set.
