Ill look further into it though. Have they made any KOs of the redecoes/remolds of this? I was particularly interested to Killbison.

I am looking at this mold to repaint for a Slammer to go alongside my Metroplex, since I dont see one coming out anytime soon.

 

You also got G2 and yellow Brawl. None of the remolds.

 

I think almost any head will need some modification to fit in that mold. I put a different head on the Hasbro version and it ended up being one of the more damnably difficult mods I've ever done. If the Nitro head is at all close, I'd expect to at least have to cut off the antennae and sand their base so the head is narrower. The ball joint probably wouldn't fit, so it would have to be dug out so you could glue Nitro's titan master post in place. Unless you start with a head of the exact dimensions or smaller of the one you're replacing, the transformation will require cutting or sanding it down to size.

In a nutshell, this mold is very tight around the head. If you find something you want to use on it, you'll probably need to put in some effort to make it work.

 

More or less Combiner Wars voyager size. If you mistransform the hips and leave hip ball joints angled, you may gain additional 1-1,5cm. Unfortunately I don't own Whirl to do direct comparison.

The only issue would be the Head of Nexus Prime, unless they oversized the existing one.

 

Just get it from China. The "USA based seller" will be doing that anyway, as there's where they all come from.

 

China is probably safer than the USA at the moment, but if contamination is a concern, leave it sitting on your doorstep for a week before bringing it inside.

Exactly. The risk isn't coming from China. Anything ordered from there will spend enough time in transit for anything inside the package to be safe. The real risk is from the people handling it up until it gets to you.

 

So far I have a package in transit from China (not to the US obviously), that spent 20 days just to get from one city to the next.

I suppose with the lockdown things are moving super slow (as they should IMHO).

You could make something work with green CBB Brawl, Red CBB Onslaught, two of the Aerialbots and Alpha Bravo. But it would have been nice to have gotten proper retools.

Most likely not, though that is a thought. I'm trying to not let Swindle and Onslaught bother me. If they were correct colors it would bug me all the more.

A bit late to the game here but was wanting opinions on the CBB 1:1 CW Superion. Quality wise I see a mix of good and bad comments and wonder which wins out? And I don't mind having Alpha Bravo because we never got Slingshot (Quickslinger) here in OZ anyway. I also heard somewhere that the figures have more ratchet joints than the original Hasbro version so it is more stable. Is that true?

 

I got a 1day from Amazon. I put gloves on and unloaded a half can of Lysol into my mailbox.
