Good. The yellow version is what I really want after having obsessed over that Ocular Max TFcon exclusive, but deciding against collecting MP variants. But this looks really nice too.

Whoever is first with a diaclone Mirage and a Marvel Soundwave gets my money too.

The Diaclone Mirage was already blue for the individual ones, and the red was the Powered Convoy giftset...

I didn't know that. It would be so cool if we got a Black Sideswipe and Red Mirage who can fit on and inside the powered convoy repaint of MFT's Ultra Magnus.

As long as many of us are asking for the toy version head sculpt (myself included), could we get the mold in a darker blue like the toy it's inspired by? Either way, I'd like to get this. I'd just be more thrilled if the points I mentioned were addressed.

Just remembered this guy also doubles as SG Trailbreaker, who used his Diaclone color scheme (an SG trope I never liked... I prefer Diaclone be its own thing and SG to be more creative with its color schemes). But still, technically this would work as SG TB as well.

Since I've got both an SG and a Diaclone Legends collection going, I'm going to have to decide which one this guy belongs in. I'm glad to hear they're possibly doing a yellow one as well... then that one could be Diaclone Trailbreaker and this one could be SG.

P.S. I agree with people wishing this came with a toy-based head... especially since the MS peg-heads are so easy to pop off and switch. MS sometimes has trouble going the extra mile like that.

Yeah, I think NewAge is edging out MS in accessories and alternative heads.

I'll model the Diaclone head and put it in my Shapeways shop if it'll actually get bought.

I've probably oversimplified it, but for me light blue is SG and dark blue is Diaclone.

That'd be great - I'm not thrilled by the fact that MS puts minimal effort into their repaints. failing to add any new sculpted elements. This was fine in the case of their Delta Magnus / Powered Convoy, not so cool on figures like G2 Sideswipe or Ghostimus Prime.

I will most likely pass on this release, but a cool toy-accurate head could change my mind.

I already own their original Trailbreaker release [it's actually one of the best MS releases so far, IMHO], so the only reason I'd be buying this is for the homage to Diaclone... so he should look like the original toy, not a TF animation model.

Diaclone head is done. Referenced from Square One's awesome photos. Since a couple of you guys lamented MST not going the extra mile on the repaint, and since the mould has accessory slots on both shoulders, I also did the Diaclone's shoulder blasters.

I'll put it in my shop tomorrow.

Any chance you could list the blasters and head as seperate pieces so that we can order each in a different color?
Those of us who are too lazy or otherwise deem themselves incapable of painting plastic would still have to find a way to make the visor red, but it would make it possible to have the head and blasters in different colors at least.

Head, Blasters, and Head & Blasters options are available for purchase. Before anyone gets sticker shock, please note that Shapeways is not a cheap service. Your prints are printed, then cleaned and packaged by a person for shipping, so they build overhead into their costs. I then round that cost up to the next whole dollar so that I make a little something for the work, so the prices you will see largely go to Shapeways, not me.

Each option is available in a variety of materials and colors. A word of caution though, all of the colored materials will have a grainy, sandy surface to them, and their color and finish are not going to be exact matches to Magic Square's figure(s). When I order things for myself, I have them printed in the Smooth Fine Detail Plastic (it's clearish acrylic), and then paint them as desired. This almost always results in a piece with a nice, smooth finish, that the model's detail is very sharp and clear in the print. I've been building models and modding figures for 30 yrs so I don't have the aversion to painting that some might, but I want to make sure everyone understands the ins and outs of Shapeways' materials, so that you're as happy as can be with what you get.

710x528_6109982_2751821_1476314998.jpg just an example of said material. It's a bit more brittle than normal plastic, more like cement and will absorb paint (-unpredictable) most probably. While it might look better for standalone figure its probably best not to use these both as an accessories of another figure (as lodging said material into harder ones might break it) or with the intent to be painted over (the material is probably intended for figures you want already 'multicoloured' - aka, not to be painted).
While I don't want to be negative about said material (it has its uses and pruposes) having bought some figures of said material I was just hoping to pass on my xp on it and add to what NOCV's point.

edit. The fig in the picture is probably a bit more glossy than really is, also take note that the colours may whiten/lose colour/tan if left under direct light/sunlight fairly quickly.
