Well he is 30 years old. Never really a fan of the character but I loved that toy. Actually, that's not even my original toy. I bought that one a few years ago because my original was in worse shape and I gave it's accessories to this one. My original still has the stickers. I didn't want to spend too much and the ones in good condition seemed to be up around €70 and some were ko's.

I did buy an Exhaust head for the old one a few years ago on Shapeways. I remember showing the head as I held it over 1 step Blurr's face because I thought a retool would make a good Slicer and someone thinking I must have money to burn if I can cut up a Diaclone Marlboro figure for a custom.

The dialcone one has 'diaclone' on the shoulder stickers.

Well since you mentioned pedantic, I took the liberty of correcting your grammatical errors. Sorry I couldn't resist!!

I'm afraid I can't answer your inquiry though.

Thanks, but I forgot to specify that the Prowl isn’t actually diaclone, but from the first batch of ‘Transformers’. The diaclone writing (but not the red R) is present on the hood by mistake, but is potentially absent from the shoulders.

Fyi Black Zarak was a re formatted Skorponok.. hence he's not a reissue but a retooled toy.. :p

JAFCON Black Convoy. 15th Anniversary release by Takara in 2000. Only 800 were made during that run.

Well there hasn't been an official release of a G1 Wheeljack toy since 1990. Plus you should see the one he replaced.

I was always bit miffed they didn't give the micromasters there team badges originally so thought I'd use up all the tiny ones on my sheet on them.
    I think they look like the part now. 20200319_234356.jpg 20200319_234519.jpg 20200319_234535.jpg 20200319_234636.jpg 20200319_234740.jpg 20200319_234748.jpg 20200319_234854.jpg 20200319_234905.jpg 20200319_234915.jpg 20200319_235016.jpg 20200319_235115.jpg 20200319_235323.jpg 20200319_235523.jpg 20200319_235558.jpg That's all the deceptions I remember getting the Airstrike patrol as a kid and Greasepit but the rest I picked up at car boot sales

As for Autobots I remember the Off road patrol was mine and my brothers 1st micromasters set we had 2 each I had Powertrain and Mudslinger (which I used pretend they were mini optimus prime & Gears)
While my brother had Tote & Highjump (who I made into Ironhide & Trailbreaker stand ins) these 2 were so worn out I had to use a little clear nail polish just to get them to stand! Well loved and played with. 20200320_000552.jpg 20200320_000610.jpg 20200320_000604.jpg 20200320_000753.jpg

The Battle patrol always holds a special place in my heart as I grew up in Swanage small town on the seafront which didn't have a lot of shops. My Grandma Bless her used to take over over to Poole for a day out and picked this set as a treat brought for me from her after we went to Whimpy and had lunch and transformed them for the 1st time. Thanks Grandma.xxx 20200320_000256.jpg 20200320_000314.jpg 20200320_000308.jpg 20200320_000450.jpg

The rest I must of picked up 2nd hand over the year bar from the Combiner astro squad I had from new.

I'm going to try complete a few sets from Ebay just to reunite them as long as there not silly money.

I've put my Countdown from Omega supreme with them as I always wanted him but just think hes better with these guys instead I know hes a fraction bigger but I always looked at him as a leader after collecting the Dreamwaves Micromasters comic.

    I also have the later released Construction micromasters but dont think there proper G1 to display here? 20200320_000931.jpg 20200320_001002.jpg 20200320_001009.jpg 20200320_001014.jpg 20200320_001242.jpg 20200320_001356.jpg 20200320_001407.jpg 20200320_001412.jpg 20200320_001520.jpg 20200320_001905.jpg 20200320_002007.jpg 20200320_001639.jpg 20200320_001813.jpg

If you mean the KB-exclusive Universe Constructicons from the mid-2000s, those are fine to post here. They're a recolor of the Japanese G1 Sixbuilder, and any re-releases of G1 molds are OK.

Yes, that's it. Around that time, Takara had put out reissues of the Japanese exclusive G1 Micromaster combiners, and Hasbro decided to put out some redecoed versions as KB exclusives; it's the first time those toys were ever available in the US. IIRC, some sets (like the Constructicons) were sold under the Universe banner, while some were sold as part of the Energon line.

I just thought anything up to G2 and that was where it stopped. Didn't get many G2 I was sorta coming away from it then think the crazy colours put me off a bit. I think Motorvator Flame was one of last transformers I got when I was younger but then started picking them up again 2000 onwards on and off. I'd see something in the shop that drew my eye and thought it wont hurt to add that one to the collection...

I still remember the days when I wanted to buy them just because they looked like mini-G1 combiners. A part of me would like to have AFA graded complete sets, but as of right now I am solely focusing on as many releases of Hasbro's "series 1" minicars as I can afford to buy.

I was considering selling the set recently, with boxes but after seeing them again in the flesh it reminded me why I brought them. It didn't look like I would of got a lot for them anyway about £20? There going for the set I think

State-side I found incomplete sets at numerous outlet stores. And at that time I really wanted to accomplish my childhood goal of getting Superion! But today I finally found a complete set for around $90 plus shipping. And while they look great combined I am a MOSC/AFA collector at heart. So I am hoping that by the end of this month I will at least have the latest "G1" Bumblebee reissue sent off to AFA for grading. I was thinking of having it be a Cotton-On reissue of "G1" Outback, but in the end my focus is preference over rarity. And I cannot convince myself to collect anything beyond the "series 1" minicars right now (if ever).
