These configurations are definitely more interesting that the ones I saw in reviews, but I still think he doesn't have the elegance if the previous weaponizers. Which I think is understandable, given that the base alternate mode is probably giving him more constraints in his design.

Ya, I’m definitely gonna need more than two. He’s great for base building and I really enjoy figuring out new combinations for the robot mode. I wish we could get a mirror image version of him as well, as I’d like some symmetrical parts to build the other direction.

Just got a copy of Ironworks to see what's the new "A.I.R" play pattern for Earthrise was like, and for what it is Ironworks by itself does what it needs to do, I guess.

I won't say Ironworks is necessarily a bad toy per se, but Ironworks feels more like the type of toy that only shines and shows its best aspects by having multiple copies to form something even more impressive; He's ok, but if you didn't care about the "Base-Building" play pattern kind of toys I can't say this figure is for you.

Even with that being said, I do have a bit interest in getting at least 1 or 2 more Ironworks a bit later on if there's some sort of discount...

Even with only 1 copy of Ironworks, the "A.I.R" play pattern with this figure does allow me to create some different configurations...

Yup, I can see myself getting at least just 1 or 2 more Ironworks later on...

Sent a PM. Though others have used Grapples claw or even soundbarrier as a radar dish

On the one hand, this looks really good, and seems to succeed at being what it is.
On the other hand, what it is is a base, meant to build on other bases, and base modes just hold no appeal for me.

I love how generic he looks, like, if you want to put him in his own series as a city protector who turns into a tower, it'd works.

Just got Ironworks and I'm very impressed with the deco and articulation in robot mode. I never knew I wanted a Micromaster base with its own robot mode until now. There's a lot of playability with this figure and it's not a bad size. It's almost selling me on the base connecting playstyle of this line.

I hope this guy shelfwarms because I want to get multiples. A single figure is fun enough on its own but the base modes are rather minuscule even for Micromasters. But get 2 or 3 Ironworks together? Oh baby, now we’re modulatin’!

Hey, I'm trying to find a pic I saw of a trailer fanmode for Ironworks, does anyone know what I'm talking about and have a source? Thanks

Guys, anyone who can show me pics of this fella with Ultima Guard base mode? I plan on buying Ironworks and I feel he also fit that base.

Bought a third yesterday and I don’t know if I’m gonna be able to stop buying these. Seems like every extra one I get increases my desire for more of them.

Anyways here’s an uncreative base using three. haven’t messed with all three together much yet, so I’m sure I’ll find some way better stuff soon enough.
