Just got a Beast Wars Neo Magmatron, figure I've been looking for a deal on for awhile, for a great price. Thing is, I can't seem to transform him. The halves of the hips seem to be blocking each other from getting into place. Took a picture of as far as I can get it. Look like something's wrong, or do I just need to push a little bit harder? It's been a while but I think the butt flips up and the leg pieces plug into it, so you may be having clearance issues if you aren't doing that.

While that wasn't the problem, it was the solution! Used the hole to sort of slide the peg along it and push the whole thing into place. Did it a few times to each leg until they both got loosened up enough to push them together.

I have this figure and haven't transformed it in years but I remember it being a pain. Personally, I found the Beast Wars Neo figures to be a little over-engineered for my taste.

I’m having this issue currently and no matter what I try...I can’t get the legs to line up and snap into place.

    Any new ideas?

The grey piece the arrows are pointing to need to sit flush inside the hip cavity- if I remember right. I drew in Orange how that piece should face correctly. I hope that helps, I sold mine a couple of years ago.

Thanks for the advice, I still can’t get it to work, the two grey bits inside are blocking each other.

    Driving me insane!
