Hopefully you'll be ok and your bosses will see sense sooner rather than later. My company has a long history of being reactive too little too late. I think it's only because they've just hired a new HR person (first time we've actually had any kind of dedicated HR, despite me complaining about needing one for the last two years) that they're even setting up the remote working for Thursday. Still a bit late though, other companies around us went remote working last week.

    Good luck.

Robits: I've been looking about (thanks @RoboW4rrior298) and found Iron Factory Warpath. He looks good and about the right size, so once everything is blown over and it's safe to buy robits again, I think I'll see if I can get one to go on my classics shelf, and then I'll be able to sell my classics warpath. Or on the off chance, do a straight swap.

Glad you’ve found something that you find better suited to your collection, I’d appreciate it if you would be able to keep me posted about the classics Warpath I’ve been trying to get my hands on one for about 5 years. :)

Alas with shitty weather I have been given a reprieve to the weekend. Soooo. While the baby naps, I think I'll have a nap.

    Start the timer...

Fuck Bobby that is scary shit. Hope the wee man is doing better.

Keep safe Large buddy. And everyone.

In other news, happy St. Pats folks! While the pubs are closed and the parades cancelled, I've found my own way to remember the boyo responsible for chasing all the snakes out of ireland

Harrumph. I wish if schools were to close then they'd bloody well get on with it. The kids are getting anxious because they don't really understand what's going on, and aren't fully equipped to cope. The staff are anxious because they don't know from day to day what's going to happen the next day. Everyone's anxious that the entire cohort's exams are going to be disrupted, and that even if the exams can go ahead they'll have missed a bunch of school.

Also I haven't bought a mothers' day present yet and I'm getting anxious about that. This last one is unconnected.

Well that's me isolated now. I dared a short walk to the postbox for a fellow forumite and now I've gone full hermit. Even out here in the sticks (West Mids / Wales border) we've got confirmed cases.

I've got all 3 DKC games on my SNES Mini (it's fiiiiine, I own the real carts) ... can basically stick any level on pause and listen to David Wise's tunes for hours. They're all so chill!

In these uncertain times we're going through at the moment, it's nice that I can still derive so much joy from a simple hunk of articulated plastic.

Jackie here has long been one of my favourite characters in the TF universe, and I'm happy to say that this toy finally gives me the representation I've been looking for since I began collecting. I'm not saying the generations version wasn't good for what it was, but after a while his chunkiness and stoutness started to bother me a bit, especially after I got the Masterpiece figure. This is what Wheeljack should look like to me, and aside from his shoulder launcher being too stubby, I'm very happy with him. Now I just need to find him some wrenches, and a 5mm missile to plug into the launcher.

I’m excited to get my copy, I wonder what that hole in the back of his launcher is intended for? It doesn’t look like generic molding. Maybe something to do with the selects Exhaust we’ve heard about. I wish he came with a secondary pistol however, even if he was more of a scientist than a fighter. I can live with the short launcher thing.

Looks the perfect shape for the warhead of a second launcher to plug in the back C.O.M.B.A.T.-Upgrade-style (the notch at the bottom looks like it's to accommodate the protruding tech detail under the warhead) that maybe got cut due to budget?

day 2 of the Apocalypse in the west country - panic buyers have realised that they've got nothing to put on their stockpiled pasta, so are now stripping out every large supermarket in the city - it's just mental... seriously considering digging up part of the garden to expand the veg patch to keep a bit of income rolling in if this is a long-term thing..

also saw the nuttiest thing at lunch (had to go to the post depot to free Soundbarrier from his quarantine) - a couple of young oriental people with facemasks on - only slight downside - they'd cut slits in the masks so they could carry on smoking... can't help feeling that slightly defeats the aim of the game?

hopefully should have broadband sorted at home tomorrow, so i can work from home from Thursday - was hystercial explaining to step son that he'd have to be sociable for a coupe of days while there was no internet... he was most displeased...
    lol
Robits? - really hope the ER w1 deluxes sneek in to Kapow towers before the shutters come down on the country...

Exactly what I was thinking. Perhaps it wasn't cut - it could be intended for such a feature to be used on a recolour/remold (i.e. a Tracks with twin guns or something)

Shout-out to @Evilgenius for braving the elements to fill-in the Battlemaster-shaped hole in my collection, I look forward to the extra Pew.

Anyone picked up Earthrise Prime yet? Would love to see pics of him, particularly with other bots from my own collection to provide scale (pic to show what I've got) Also curious what others would consider a 'good' price on him :)

    IMG_20200311_184032935.jpg

Anyone interested in an RTS Perceptor? Ironhide has taken his place in the cabinet (as you can see, there's not much room) and I feel like there's enough red in there now!

Customers are already complaining at me for refusing to do home visits (I'm self-employed, operating an IT troubleshooting service). I get that they're frustrated, but I don't like them taking it out on me. I provide the best service in the county (guaranteed!) for less than half the going rate, but when I shut the doors due to national emergency I'm suddenly the bad guy :(

Music will be a greaaaaaaaat help for the weeks incoming. I've got stuff to do, things to play, people to care bout to call, people in the building for the noise, it's gonna be ok.
A tiiiny part of me wonders about the challenge it can be for my mental health (not so much the forced isolation than the worry about loved ones... And a bit that hate I have for our authorities) but I'm positive. David Wise will help !

Also cancelled the bots (and Animal Crossing!) I had on preorder on Amazon. I really don't want the delivery guys to be out there working.

Randomly checked on Soundbarrier's Amazon US listing (I was just scrolling down Daimchoc's FB feed, he'd posted 18hrs ago the last time they restocked, and I basically just spite-clicked sure that he'd be sold out) and he was suddenly in-stock (AGAIN!) with 12 remaining - you'd best believe I ordered a backup trio. If they lift off before my missing pair I'll cancel the bejeezus out of them, or maybe I should leave 'em as insurance? Still 8 in-stock according to the listing right now, Ramp Fans!

    Boot/local Marketplace pick-up associated vignette part......quite a few I would imagine.

Perhaps but makes no sense to give him a small launcher when other deluxes like Impactor and Mirage got more than one accessory.

I wonder if Cliffjumper took up the budget for the deluxe wave?

I don't know for sure but I suspect Sunstreaker's remoulding and additional shin-filling panels might have half-inched a portion of the plastic and/or engineering/tooling allocation budget. I don't think that budget allocation is strictly per Wave but line-wide.

I'm on holiday this week, due to it being my son's birthday, will be interesting to see what my work will be like when I go back. For those that don't know, I work for a pharmacy, delivering to doctors surgeries, care homes, and the elderly. Plus I'm categorised as high risk. And my firm don't know it's arse from its elbow. :/

You might be right being that he’s sharing engineering with Wheeljack (bloody knew it!) but that does sort of unbalance the idea of set budgets for figures further. Since Siege we’ve been under the impression they’re allocating budget to waves.
