You could pretty much take "Thundercats 2011" out of that sentence and add "the Mike Young Productions He-Man series". That show was well-received and had a toyline with cool figures... Problem was He-Man and Skeletor were overpacked, while most secondary characters were nigh impossible to find. Thus a wall of those 2 characters kept stores from ordering the later waves, and it died.
