Darn it. I was hoping on skipping Earthrise Optimus Prime since I have both Siege Optimus Primes, but the new guy is looking so good...

I'm actually thinking of selling my Siege Primes and Seekers as well as some of my older Classics/Universe figures and getting the Siege/Earthrise updates to them.

Either or can't go wrong. I prefer Hoist a little bit more

First off, a bridge design for attaching to Omega. Quite sturdy and with a nice arch to it.

And now, five Ironworks, Astrotrain's box and missile pod, and a slow work day created this:

Both you and @PrimalFury are making me seriously consider buying more Ironworks figures. Maddening and awesome at the same time! But I think I’m doing ok with just the one considering I created these.

I just got in the first four Deluxe-class figures from Pulse. Cliffjumper, Wheeljack, and Hoist are cool. But the one I was anticipating the most was Ironworks.

And his little buddy's here to help get him out of the package!

He's got the box-cutter all set.

    He's a strong little fellow!

    Free from his cardboard prison.

    "Thanks, little buddy!"

So, Ironworks and his base. Is this the first... 'complete' Micromaster set we've got? I don't think any of the four-member teams or squads have all their members.

I came up with this alternate layout for Ironworks. I like this better as it has more height and more ramps.

first complete yes. Air strike patrol is second as it only has 3/4 members. An argument could be made for the spy patrol but the lack of buzzsaw and (repaint of ravage who’s name escapes me) kind of holds that back as well. The next Micromaster base, airwave, technically has their Micromaster partner, which is overair from the 10-pk.

You know what. Those deluxe bases / "modulators" coupled with a fitting micromaster kinda reminds me of Polly pocket. Maybe that was Hasbro's transformers answer for Polly back in the day, think about it :D

Keep one of the Siege Primes so you can swap out the head with Earthrise Prime. Looks better that way.

I know it's 'just' the basic alternate mode for him, but I'm loving it. :D  I don't have the money/space for multiple Ironworks, but just one is still so cool.
