I'm relatively certain I killed a few of those in Horizon: Zero Dawn.

I now want a version of this in HZD mech colors, with retooled altmode heads/equipment to match their ingame counterparts. That would be glorious.

Ye I was going to get this combiner, but I don't really like the colours for some reason. So I'll wait for the Nero version, this would look so amazing in that colour scheme. Like Nero rex

 

Dang it, I was going to make a tearblast arrow joke, but too late now..

The pessimist in me says Rampage also looked incredible in grey, then also as proposed coloring, but only half as cool with the final scheme.

 

The latest Rampage colour testing pics seemed to have dropped most (if not all) of the yellow, if that helps any?

 

half expected the leading edge of the wings to rotate around and be rail guns in either mode.

 

I'm still waiting for a definitive version before making a final declaration, but it's still not as good as the original proposal or early digibashes. "Boiled down", Rampage is basically "red and orange"----and it still doesn't give that vibe. More like burgundy and marigold....

Honestly, it's less the YELLOW, and more the extremely yellowish shade of "orange" they're using. Combined with the accent "red" being either a super-reddish orange or a super-orangey red.

Either way, it's like they've reversed the contrast or something. Subtle color differences are extreme, and vice-versa.

Absolutely, that's fair enough, it's best to wait and see what the final-final colours look in inhand images.

One of the other photos had some hip or leg parts in more of a metallic ruby red:
I'm going to get this set anyway, but if the figure has a bit more of this metallic ruby red finish and a less yellowy orange like you mentioned, it's going to be the apex predator!

 

I'm getting more tempted by this set, the stylized look is growing on me. I can't commit though until they actually show the combined mode.

 

Yeah, the more I see, the more I like. I'm on the fence right now til I can see combined mode and a review of the quality of the first figure. They're not super expensive, but still not cheap.

 

"Ruby plus a true orangey-orange" would be a great combo, I just don't expect to see it.

 

Some strong gundam vibes from this one, diggin it. Not sure how I feel about the head in robot mode though

 

Ha ha ha. I'm going to have to start charging you guys for raising the Cheebs Signal. Like, it costs one reasonable mask of the main figure in a Photoshop file. Ha ha ha ha...  



I have no idea where these colors will end up on the real thing, these guys look to be so stylized. So don't take this digi to be any indication of anything.
