This thread is guaranteed to be filled with people being toxic idiots, because how dare people like a kids show based on toys enough that it gets a crossover with another kids show based on toys.

 

I like My Little Pony and I've never had an issue at all with people liking it, but this particular cover is just cringe-worthy. The issue here isn't MLP crossing over with TF, it's just a lame cover.

A bit of friendly advice: going into a thread and immediately looking to get into an internet fight is never a wise idea. You didn't specify any issue you had with other people, you just started broadly calling people 'toxic idiots', whatever that even means.

Furthermore, it's also okay if people just don't like the idea of TF crossing over with MLP, contrary to popular belief people are allowed to hold any opinion they want. People having an opinion you dislike doesn't make them toxic.

 

There are people here who take it too far in any thread even vaguely MLP related. SouthtownKid, for instance, made a comment in this thread that accused bronies of being "dangerous" to children (which seems to be an accusation of pedophilia). And no, he didn't specify just cloppers, he referred to members of the fanbase in general. Fortunately, after it was reported a mod edited the post to remove his bullcrap.

That's just one example. When it comes to MLP, this website has proven itself to be toxic multiple times over. While you may be one who doesn't like this cover for an okay reason, past behavior of TFW2005 users indicates that most of the people whining about it are most likely doing so because they have an irrational dislike for MLP.

 

I'm not shocked just disappointed. The quality of art work is more than acceptable. But yeah... Cringe. Was is 7 years ago we had a cover with Galvatron going full f**king berserker mode on some robot zombie's? How times have changed.

I just feel like this is just the demographic who buy the comics. I've noticed a lot of older fans leaving as we're for the most part in our 30's/40's and haven't got the time for it.

Edit: turns out that cover I was talking about is from 07 so it's closer to 13 years old.

 

You do realize that there IS a MLP and Transformers crossover coming right and this kinda hints at it as a joke? I think it's funny, though I'm not a MLP fan so I won't get this cover, getting mad over this ALT cover IS cringe.

MLP is great because it causes some grown ass adults to revert to 7 year olds being all "eewww icky girl toys!" whenever they see something related to it.

 

I think an MLP/Transformers crossover should have Battle Unicorn in it.

I'm not walking away from the comic because of my age. I'm walking away from it because the ENTIRE comic, ALL18 issues of it, has been one giant panel of talk, talk, TALK. I think someone got smacked once but then they TALKED about the geo political repercussions of being slapped.

 

For the love of God, if you're going to have a signature at least let it make sense.
