My issue is that I'm a dealer, and had paid for 3 tables. I'm local to Florida, so I won't be making a trip to another location.

 

I work for a huge corporation and we will be working remote shortly. With everyone seeming to be stocked up, everything shutting down en masse, hopefully THE PEOPLE work together and we contain it. If we do its a good wake up call and dry run for something worse that comes along. Lets hope we succeed. I can go to the next con, this one was right down the street, but its a minor bump compared to a lot of grief coming to a lot of people.

This seems like it should be really simple.

 

We were stoked about this show and to see so many of our friends again in one place for the first time since Botcon ended. To not postpone at this point seems incredibly irresponsible though. Just bad timing all around. Sure, some of it is overblown but man, this is a GLOBAL outbreak. That's crazy. Better to be safe, smart and responsible.

 

Putting guests and fans at risk. While disneyland even closed. FFS Sponsors, PULL OUT.

 

Postpone it, come back in a month with David Kaye and Frank Welker! This is not hard!

Definatly the right thing to do. I hope that they reschedule orlando for the fall.

 

I hope that they keep it in Orlando whenever they decide to do it (or Tampa lol)
It's rare to have a TF centric con in FL.

 

That's a point I made in their Facebook group. Last time there was one, it was a BotCon!

 

tfcon website just announced cancellation of their con due to covid19.

This is for the best. The first case in my state came in through the airport frequented by my customers. I give it two weeks before my city is locked down.

 

I hope so too. This would've been my first TF con. I have never have been to Botcon, so this would've been nice. Praying to keep it in Orlando or Tampa like you said

 

This was the right thing to do. They could still deliver all the 3rd party slides and any other slides to companies to post.

Tfcon cancelled, as per thread title. (I quoted who I heard it from first). I respect the seriousness of the situation, but I'd also like to see if we can get some of the announcements/reveals posted on the forums somewhere. Everyone stay safe out there.

 

Disappointing, but expected.
I'm sure the companies will still want to show off their new products regardless. Bring on those slides boys!
