The delay will affect the following Transformers licensed products:

* Transformers: Bumblebee – DLX Nemesis Optimus Prime – The original shipment time was Q1 2020, and it is now postponed to June 2020.

* Transformers: Bumblebee – Premium Bumblebee – The original shipment time was Q1 2020, and it is now postponed to June 2020.

 

Just hope this doesnt trickle into regular Hasbro products. 

 

I wholly understand; I’m a little bummed, but I wasn’t gonna open Nemesis because of his limitedness anyway. Hopefully, they are all doing well!

 

This makes sense. China has basically lost 2 -3 months of production. There will be delays across the board. Not just transformer toys.

The company I work for, everything has slipped by at least a quarter.

Well this is okay for me as I\'m still saving up for premium Bumblebee. A lot and I mean a lot of things are going to be pushed back but it is all for the safety and concern of the people. I live here in Houston and they have canceled the rodeo. I am betting they end up canceling San Diego comic con.

Well as long as we get Overload and Scrapper here before the delay ill be good. The rest can all wait. I wonder if Hasbro could afford to have their factory in America ? Or would $15-20 an hour wages for factory workers make a business unprofitable ?

 

I still think some if you need to get your priorities straight. We're dealing with a worldwide pandemic, and people are worried about when they get their toys.

 

Other than the recommended strategies for keeping healthy and preventing the spread of illness, there isn't much else we can do. We're not health officials, we're toy collectors. No one here is cheering at the sight of the death counter ticking upward, nor are we screaming at the sick and demanding they work harder for our gain; we're just bummed about not getting toys.

And honestly, coronavirus cases are surrounding my area so the chances of me getting it are growing by the day. After I take all the necessary precautions, there's nothing left for me to do but talk about toys.

Assuming you meant America, has Hasbro ever had factories in America? At least since creating Transformers?

Also aren't most of their factories in Vietnam these days or has that changed?

 

My understanding is that Trsnaformers are made in Vietnam but Hasbro has factories all over Aisa.

 

Oh it’s definitely not that bad. It’s only caused Disneyland to shut its doors for the rest of the months, movies to be delayed till next year/indefinitely, an entire country to go on lockdown, the NBA to suspend the rest of basketball season, and major events like Coachella and E3 have been postponed or cancelled, and the stock market is currently taking a major nosedive. There’s not going to be any known vaccine for at least a year. So yeah. It’s definitely not something to worry about. It’s fine. We’re fine.
