Do any of you think that we'll get characters redone in the SS line once there aren't any more characters to make? Would you like a new movie 1 Ironhide with more articulation? Or a new SS Jazz who's more movie accurate? I think it'd be nice to see!

I'm kinda missing my 2011 dotm Voyager Ironhide I sold off long ago. I've always liked that one abit more than the SS one. Maybe it's nostalgia or the big inaccurate cannon he had. Thinking of replacing my ss one with the dotm one...

Anyone have size comparison pics of 2011 Voyager Ironhide and ss Ironhide? And also with Ss Optimus?? I know dotm IH was quite tall but I usually got away with bending his knees to chicken legs to shorten. On the other hand I'm worried that dotm Ironhide will be too tall for SS Sentinel Prime.

While id like a few redone better in SS i dont think its super likely as we move forward with the reboot / Bumblebee sequel its more likely if the likes of jazz, ironhide and perhaps Ratchet will be their new designs rather than another crack at the bayverse designs when it comes to SS.

BB Cliffjumper is evidence enough of hasbro willing to make characters From Bumblebee a reality and in that since i do hope BB ironhide and Ratchet get the same treatments

I’d be okay with it I guess, we could certainly use a new 2007 Optimus 3.0 that gives him a better silhouette, or a new Blackout with better hands, etc. I’m assuming at that point that far in the future, I’d have a much better income to both keep the current SS figures and buy the improved ones. Certainly can’t sell some of them since I made some nontransforming. But honestly, I’m okay with them not revisiting these for another 10 or 15 years, or not at all.
Like, these figures are my definitive set of movie figures (I know the MPMs have more detail but I mean as an overall cast). If they never make these characters again, I’ll be happy with what we got, because they’re pretty perfect overall. But if they redo them and make them even better, then I’ll gladly get the better ones in the future, and just store these current ones in some Tupperwares. Does my viewpoint make sense?

Agreed, new designs in the reboot universe would be cool. That way collectors have options for Bayverse movie figures and Knightverse/__?__verse movie figures. Or hell, you could repurpose certain figures as new characters if you wanted. Personally, I’m adding Dropkick, Shatter, Blitzwing, and Cliffjumper to my Bayverse SS display, even though the movie is technically a reboot, because the figures are great; the characters were good in film; and they still have Bayverse elements. Whether or not I continue to add future characters depends on how the movies turn out

Shatter looks amazing! I still don’t get how such a large jet can triple change into a tiny car, but I’ll ignore the physics and mass-shifting issues :lol  Shatter, Dropkick, and Lockdown get free passes on scale because they’re official on-screen characters. Bots like Dirge and Breakaway don’t

I think Shatter turns in an actual jet in the film, just a miniaturized one. Same with Dropkick’s helicopter mode.

What a beautiful creeper Hightower is.

So wonderfully creepy, it’s too much fun. Hightower has this robot “Alien” queen vibe going with the protruding head and stubby T-Rex arms. Love that headsculpt. But the spindly super-legs is where all the action is.

He just looks so surprisingly menacing. This is definitely one robot you wouldn’t want to see outside your bedroom window at night.

Nightmares for months! Despite his gremlin nature, Hightower sports a really sweet construction alt mode.

The truss crane is very nice and I’m loving the shade of blue they use on all the Constructicons windows.

The silver used on the treads is nice and it’s really cool to have an articulated crane arm and claw.

Really love this ugly little spud. Very unconventional robot mode with lots of fun poseability thanks to his freaky legs. Hightower may be my favorite of the three Constructicons I own thus far.
