I've decided to skip the Shieldformers since they're basically 1-step changers. I don't need 10 of these just to create ramps.

The only one I might get is Slitherfang, since that's at least 2 steps. Any listing for him yet?

 

People are that excited for Soundbarrier?!?

I'm so freaking out of touch with everyone these days.  

 

For me it's the connectivity to bases to make a high way and the fact he turns into a shield too.

 

shit. i kept checking amazon yesterday for soundbarrier and it's only ever the atrocious TFSource markup. I suppose I missed it yesterday.

 

I already have a Soundbarrier that I found at a local Target. I ordered one yesterday from Amazon ($5.99), but only had 1 left. I should receive it this coming Saturday.

 

Tried yesterday while soundbarrier was 5.99 and it wouldn’t let me add it to cart or buy it now. Just kept getting errors.

 

Shapeways A.I.R.Lock ramps are about $7, Soundbarrier is $6 and comes in a better color.

 

I think my problem with him is that he doesn't transform and just carries everything on his back. He makes the Battlemaster guns look complex in comparison.  

 

Yeah, he's just a ramp for the bases for me. If I can get a few, one might be in robot mode, but the rest will be w/Sky Lynx and the other Micromaster bases

 

I'm showing $6 Soundbarrier is available again for those who missed it yesterday.

 

Sad seeing TFsource scalping Soundbarrier.

 

I'll just wait on Soundbarrier until whenever the price drops to non-scalping territory. I'm sure the mold will be repainted and put in box sets anyway. Maybe packed in with a new Skywarp!

I see a 6-to-1

 

It's just that Starscream is 1 per, while Grapple is 2 in a case of 3. That's basically 3 cases worth of figures. I'm more impressed that Walmart was willing to take on that many when they have so much Siege overstock.

 

This was just me trying to be cheeky, since I did make the joke about Shelf Warming. Yup, 3-to-1 is the default wave 1 ratio for ER Voyagers.  

 

Ha! Of the trio of Soundbarriers I ordered, Amazon have shipped a third!

Bit of a bugger seeing as the other two are to attempt customising some extensions to my modded Fort Max ramps to give them a less lethal drop of an incline whilst adding A.I.R. lock compatibility!

 

For me it was $6 to experience the play pattern. I wouldn’t pay scalper prices but for $6 it was ok to give it a shot.

 

Thankfully I haven't had any issues finding Soundbarrier around my area the last couple of weeks, and I definitely won't pay TFSource's scalper price.

 

I am extremely disappointed in tfsource, I will really think twice about using them again

 

Even the scalpers on ebay, of all places, offer a better deal for soundbarrier. Paying upwards of $20 for both soundbarrier and smashdown is "reasonable" (which is what many of the listings are) but not $20 for soundbarrier alone.
