I'm sure this was posted but I must have over looked it. When is the release date or estimated release date of this?

I'm sorry but you are wrong.

This has been discussed for years.

Bottom line, Unicron and Cybertron are Both Larger than Earth.

Unicron's Planet Mode is nearly identical in size to Cybertron if not slightly Larger.

The Sunbow Episode you are referring to is a Perspective shot.

There are many form of Perspective. If you were an artist for instance it's one of the first basic thing you learn in art class and in Photography.

in the recent IDW comics Unicron Became larger and larger the more Planets and moons her devoured as he would add their mass unto himself. In the IDW comics he was so massive he could hold the earth in the palm of one hand. He quite literally ripped Cybertron in half with zero effort. and on his way to Earth he crashed right through Jupiter as if it were paper to him.

and If you want to go by the movie his Planet mode was def larger than Cybertron. But instead of Eating Cybertron he preferred to just Tear it apart with his bare hands but was instead foiled by the Matrix.

In the IDW comic There Was no Matrix to destroy Unicron.

If you want to go by Transformers Prime and the Bayverse, UNICRON actually WAS EARTH.

I am ok with the current size as I will only be displaying Unicron standing in front of Hot Rod holding the Matrix.

Cybertron's Size in "The Ultimate Doom"
As this article that does a bunch of math explains, the episode sucks for comparing sizes and shouldn’t be used. The most we can go off of is logic, which says bigger beings, bigger planet.

Edit: ignored just to continue bickering... as always

Nah, I like his estimates better. I dont figure other media portrayals of Unicron into my understanding of his relative size and I definitely saw robots come out his eyes in the movie. If he was Earth sized they wouldnt even register to the eye if the shot was far back enough to see his face. But like all thing Transformers, you can decide whatever you want and not be wrong with all the goofy stuff the cartoon did.

Can't wait for an OSKO to bring it to proper 1:54 scale (aka moon size)

I dunno, Hasbro's cat has a better alt mode, but Zeta/01's cat just looks better to me overall. They better upscale it though; anything less than lion-sized is a dealbreaker.

If Unicron is larger than Earth, old Galvatron must be at least the size of New York when he gets picked up and devoured here:

The scale in the movie was about as stable and reliable as a broker in debt, which is why I couldn't care less about it.

I do remember the scale meant for Unicron was to be Saturn sized and hence why his rings and markings were to be based off Saturn.
There was also the whole Viking/warrior and Kronos reference since well...Kronos ate his children and was known as the Great Devourer.
But then again scale was never something truly important in G1 Transformers. *Shrug*

You didn't see the pre-orders for Legends of Legends Class Unicron? He's an accessory in SS, now. Made by the same people who think Brains and Wheelie are accessories for Shockwave...

Not very articulated though. I think they said it falls over without a figure stand or something.

    I pre-ordered seven! (I hope I have tweezers ready...)

Bah! That's an OSKO! Might get a guy excited, careful there!

Of course, we're arguing about scale in a cartoon where scale literally means nothing. The Constructicons made Devastator INSIDE Astrotrain, with all the rest of the Decepticon army in attendance. I'm not sure anyone here really understands scale anyhow. Haslab Unicron is 39.9cm in diameter, without the rings. If we claim Unicron is the size of Pluto, well, Pluto is 2,370km, which is 237,000,000cm, so Haslab Unicron is 1/5939849 scale. Optimus Prime is 22 feet tall, which is 670.5cm. At the same scale as Haslab Unicron, Prime would stand a mighty 1.128 nanometers.

A strand of human DNA is 2.5nm in diameter. Most electron microscopes have a resolution of about 6nm, so we'd need a scanning tunneling microscope to see Prime. Now, Pluto is about a sixth the size of Earth. If we're assuming a big Unicron would have maybe twice the diameter of Earth, then he would be twelve times the diameter of Pluto. That would make our scale Prime a twelfth the size, a little less than a tenth of a nanometer, which is about the diameter of a gold atom, I think. That's how small the Transformers should have been in the cartoon.

Neither one of you owned anyone. As I posted in my reply to you guys (which you of course ignored to promptly boast) there is an analysis of that episode using math and guess what the conclusion was?

It’s a fucking inconsistent 80’s cartoon that morphs character’s sizes every second. Neither of you is correct because there is no correct size.

The argument has been had in this thread like 4 separate times already. If world peace were a reality, Transformers fans would find a way to start a war over toy scale.
