In all honesty I’d rather see someone other than the generations figures get the masterpiece treatment. In terms of how longs it’s been yes it was 2014 (damn 6 years already) but give me someone who needs an update and hasn’t gotten one in years. Figures like rhinox, rattrap and Waspinator could be the last three and I’d be happy with that. Just once the other characters who haven’t gotten an update in literally years get what they deserve. So to sum up i think those three specifically can hold out until the others are done (imo). I want terrorsaur next for the preds and airazor for the Maximals. Not counting repaints along the way but those are the two I want to see next. They desperately need it and I think a lot of people would agree  

 

Although I understand and symathise with the "give us the ones who 'need' an update first" argument.. becuase they'd probably be the most exciting for many people. I don't totally see it's relevance. Masterpiece isn't an update line, it not about providing updates to older figures, that's more CHUGs game, it's supposed to be the high end 'collector grade' ultra show accurate line, there either is a MP of a character or there is not. IMO the presence of a CHUG figure should not come into deciding who to do next.

I was told that Blackarachnia and Tigatron specifically were going to be revealed. Tigatron was a no-show at that event. My source was confused and said he saw a white cat prototype and said ‘that’s Tigatron right??’. We were both let down and I had to eat crow for announcing Tigatron was next. Then Lio convoy was announced. I had the big ‘aaaahhhhhh ok’ moment.
