When you look at this picture you just can't help but appreciate just how good these ER alt modes are. They boarderline look like scale models.

Some new additions to Autobot city

 

I like this configuration:

 

I just found out about the extra neck joint, give him attitude, but also looks like part of a premold.

 

I got Wheeljack, Starscream, and Optimus from Best Buy today. All 3 are stellar toys. I'm so happy with Earthrise... All I need from Wave 1 is Ironworks and I'm done for now. Its been a LONG time since I went this crazy over a first wave.

 

Is this considered flashing?

I just got Wheeljack tonight, and just after a few hours, he's already a major favourite in my collection. He's a solid figure, transformation is good, he feels very solid in hand. The worse of him is the empty gaps of the thighs, but the black makes it discreet to see, but the really "bad" thing is the lack of accessories... that uber small and cheap "weapon" is really just that, small and cheap. I went through my back-up guns to give him a proper one. He should have come with at least an additional gun and a few tools.

Hoist, while quite nice, suffers from large gaps, the back panels of the arms, while part of the G1 look, could have been done with a better approach to give then an additional articulation to move then out of the way as needed, and the traffic cone weapon, could have been less cheap.

Wheel jack has been long overdue... he is one of my favorite transformers and ER did him proud. I don’t care about the lack of accessories I have a bucket of old guns for him and siege crosshairs to invent.

 

Messing around with CJs extra neck joint.

 

I'm encouraged because this joint allows the head to fold under the windshield leaving more room in the front for whatever would be needed for Bumblebee.
