Agreed 100%. Granted I’m not a Japanese speaker but the instructions are useless. I needed a video to complete certain parts.

 

I've been reviewing BWII cartoon recently and could any fella tell me which episode did BWII movie's story (with Primal) come after with? I only know that movie happened after Magnaboss show up..

 

For those that have finished BWII, what are some great episodes that feature Lio Convoy? I just starteed myself, but would like to check out some highlight episodes.

 

He is one sturdy ‘bot! Also mid transformation really makes for some nightmare fuel...but love the bot mode so much.

 

He looks pretty good but damn he is another Panelformers.

 

Yeah I really don’t enjoy the transformation. Granted I made the bad mistake of starting it at 1am but it’s not fun for me.

 

Double post but... can you guys please tell me if I’ve transformed him correctly? Am I missing anything?

I think both sets of springs in the elbows are too stiff. I actually looked through my junk parts for softer ones, but couldn't find anything small enough.

I love ratchet joints, and always appreciate when they're used properly, but I just can't quite see the benefit of them here. They're definitely too tight for what they need to accomplish.

Agreed. I usually have no problem with TTs instructions, and kinda scoff at the notion of "needing" a video to transform something. But damn, Lio's are just straight up bad. Way too small and crammed.

 

Pretty much what you can expect from Takara nowadays i.e. transformations that are not fun. Hound bucked the trend, but the materials are shitty.

 

The top of the mane spins around to lie flat and have the smoother lines on top. Hard to tell too, but you maybe didn't get the beast mode jaw clamped down properly either? Looks to be sitting too high.

I transformed mine back to robot mode last night and loosened the screws on the arms in the process. Man what a world of difference that made. I felt like I was going to break the arms before, but now it feels much better.

Also realized I've got a bit of red paint chipping on the chest which kinda sucks. Only spot I've noticed of it so far.

Looking at those swords made me want to refine my design a bit more. I think this will be the final version to get printed: I've added a bit of detail but I think the slightly simpler aesthetic that I've gone for will compliment Lio well:

Your opinion your right but just asking this, it changes shape from the original form. it morphs, it "tttttttTransofoms!" so what's the issue? Same with "partsforming" like Magmatron,Godbomber and Omega Supreme. You'd deprive yourself of the joy of the toy? It is still a glorified puzzle piece. All shape changing figures are.

 

Boosters? A bit of a Gundam vibe there huh.
