Hi all, long time listener first time caller! I just wanted to flag my trip to the Forbidden Planet Megastore in London this evening, they had a bunch of new things in as of 19.30pm.

Highlights are the ER Starscream (2 left, I had to have one) and a few ER Astrotrains, as well as reissue Ravage/Rumble & Frenzy/Laserbeak sets. Lots of these action master figures and a couple of Siege Primes too.

What can I say, I've enjoyed seeing people help each other find the goods so I thought I'd chime in :)

Only the one Barry when I called in unfortunately. Twenty minutes to transform him last night with everything tabbed in properly - the car mode is tiny compared to the robot. Good toy but wish I had this one's robot mode with the Revenge of the Fallen alt-mode (I know these are meant to scale with each other but the car is tiny), that would be sweet. @Master Disaster - unlikely we are acquainted as I have yet to meet a fellow robbits collector in the flesh - nice to know I'm not the only one around this neck of the woods:)

My initial excitement turned to disappointment. I broke the (now well known) peg connecting Grapple's head to his foot in crane truck mode and started looking at him as a whole with some disbelief in terms of the quality.

I was so disappointed I rushed straight back to Smyths, who luckily offered a no quibble exchange or refund. I went back to see the other Grapples displayed and thought in the end, I didn't fancy it anymore and promptly requested a refund. That experience probably means I am out of the Earthrise game just as it barely started. I was quite distressed that there was a chance it could go to landfill depending on management.

On topic, I did see Earthrise Optimus hidden behind the Astrotrains if anyone is looking.

What fault is this? I just want to know for when mine comes and I can be careful!

basically have a file ready for the pegs that connect the head module to the bottom of the feet - it's an insanely tight fit, and can snap if you're not too careful - but with a bit of filing and testing, it's easily remedied - hopefully it'll get solved by the time the repaints surface...

Ah okay, I'm used to filing down some of my figures anyway. Hopefully one day Hasbro will actually fix these QC issues so we don't have to.

See WFC Earthrise Grapple - Voyager class for much more on the issue

I went for widening the holes which was a mistake as now there's no grip on the pegs at all. Fortunately there's some more pegs further up the truck which will help it hold together.

same thing happened to my Grapple!! although I already tore the packaging apart, I didn't try to return to Kapow.
looks like it is a very tight hole the peg goes into

As a model kit builder I have quite a few tools and techniques I used previously, but eventually I could already see it stressing despite much coaxing and gentle wiggling. It's not really a solid enough part to pull out with any force without ripping. It was impossible for me to use my needle to get into the hollow part.
My mistake was to get the peg in there near-flush in the first place without enough thought...sigh

    Ah darn, sorry to hear

Woo we are almost neighbours! I saw one Omegz on the bottom shelf today as was in my photo yesterday.

Boucher road b and m has all the battle masters.

I’ve seen the studio series deluxes at forest side b and m and yorkgate. (Wave 5 and 4? Respectively) Not many left after I picked up mine though.

Anyone seen any Battlemasters in B&M other than Wave 1 (Firebolt, Blowpipe & Lioniser)?

Wave 2 is Aimless & Pteraxodon, with Lioniser repacked

Wave 3 is Caliburst & Smashdown (Siege version), with Firebolt repacked

Wave 4 is Rung & Singe, with Pteraxodon repacked

(w4 Battlemasters were out the same time as w5 Deluxe)
