@Wan If you still have some spare money left, I recommend getting that black repaint of that Bumblebee Movie Optimus Prime. Exactly the same mould but in badass Nemesis Prime colours .
Send Toyhax a polite note expressing an interest in them up sizing their POTP sets. At least a few of us already have. Hopefully if they see a healthy demand they'll go ahead and make them.

Yes, even there's the same artwork on the box (at least on mine) just flipped horizontally and coloured differently .
While mine didn't have breaks I did have to ask for a replacement leg. The plastic on the lower leg around the screws began stripping out, so I couldn't tighten the two halfs. Another issue I had was I painted the crotch red using automotive retouch paint, lightly thinned out and the plastic had a mild bad reaction. It was probably caused by the thinner but still I've had good results with other plastics, so. I'm not calling the quality on these bad or poor or anything like that, but just be weary that the plastic is not as sturdy.
Out of curiosity, is that paint meant for plastic, though? I'm also planning to paint the missing red on Grims and Snarl, but I'm probably gonna use acrylic paint or Gundam markers.
Probably not lol. It was acrylic lacquer paint. I think had i used a primer underneath as an inbetween coat separate the layers I would have been fine. I only went with that paint for that area since there's a lot of rubbing back and forth in the hips that the water based acrylic paint will flake off, so I wanted something more resistant.
i'm interested in buying these. what should i know before making a purchase? are there different os versions?
From what I personally can recall there's a 1:1 KO with die-cast, there's an OSKO with some of the accessories but all of the combiner pieces, and there's a set of the OSKO with all the correct weapons and combiner pieces. There's another KO in rainbow/PR colors.
BlackMamba (BMB) is the OSKO set in G1 colors. It has some die-cast as well. When I ordered my set, it came with a rifle and sword for each member, a fist with each limb and the feet with Grimlock, and two more fists and a sword and rifle with Slash. But I think since then those numbers have varied to just 3 swords and 3 guns with each set. You could always message the seller and confirm. The 1:1 version doesn't have any die cast. It's made by BPF. It's mostly exact copy of PotP versions (Grimlock, Slag, Sludge, Swoop and Snarl, no KO of Slash), except some minor differences: - Grimlock has two enigmas and the sword "borrowed" from his FoC version, - stickers are replaced by tampographs (I'm not sure if they replaced all stickers), - for obvious reasons Autobot insignia are removed, - again, for obvious reasons, packaging is different (though artworks are "borrowed" from Hasbro version). Found a nice quick and fairly cheap way to sort out OSKO Swoop's Godawful waist screwholes, a pair of 4mm x 4mm cylinder magnets fill and cap 'em off perfectly (IMHO)!
Speaking of Swoop, the G1 color versions are only sold as a set, right? I was thinking of getting a second Swoop to recolor in the red version. It would be a much easier job than going from the yellow power ranger version... although I was thinking of getting a second set to keep in combiner mode but not right now.
