Damn, he wrote all the best G1 episodes, a lot of which are among my personal favorites. He was a real legend.
I'm incredibly sad to hear of his passing :(  Rest in peace, man.

Kremzeek! is one of my favorite Transformers episodes. As if he crossed over TFs with looney tunes. You could tell Mr Wise was having some fun when he wrote that episode.
I enjoyed his TMNT episodes too.
You will be missed David. You can now rest and be one with the matrix.

    r.i.p. :(

That's a good interview, too. It isn't the one I linked to, though. I think that's the one on the DVD set?

I was there at 2019 Burbank and listened to him and the rest of the panel. Really good stories, so sad that in one more year he is gone.

David Wise was a big big part of our 1980s/90s, whether we knew it at the time or not.

May he R.i.P….Rebirth in Peace. Wise is the only creator of something Transformers that I have ever personally interacted with, albeit only online (I've been a few feet from Donald Glut, but I don't count that, as I didn't say anything or vice versa). I wrote something on a comment of his, and he liked what I said. He seemed like a classy guy.

Rest in peace Mr. Wise. The rebirth was the first transformers cartoon I saw as a kid. If he hadn't weaved such a fun tale I wonder if I'd have been as hooked as I am.

    What a loss.
Cheesy (studio dictated) and decade appropriate though his work was, you can't deny his work was absolutely timeless.

What we have now are massively crap shows with terrible writing (TF Prime also gets negative points for making the kids too hip and edgy. G1 Spike and Sparkplug weren't "cool" or had anything stereotypically 80's about them. Beast Wars also had no 90's "extreme" crap going on or daft catchphrases) that will age extremely badly due to writers trying too hard to make storylines "epic" and characters "badass".

That's what made Machinima Trilogy garbage.

    That's what stinks about BayVerse.

And when they try to make things kid friendly, you get Cyberverse. I tried, but gave up after 5 episodes. I felt the humor insulted a 4 year olds' intelligence.
And stop trying to make girls badass by making them men in drag.
Grunting and angsty like a closeted lesbian.

Look at '77 Wonder Woman. She's supremely strong, smart, capable yet is lady-like and classy despite the outfit/look.

Mr. Wise wrote wholesome, intriguing, exciting stuff for ages 4-40yr.
    That is testament to brilliance.
Brilliance that's hard to come by in today's shows and media.

    RIP David Wise.
