Latest custom is Omnibot Overdrive to go with my take on Omnibot Camshaft. He's the 08 sideswipe figure what I've modified on places to allow for a miss transformation what looks like Overdrive. First I'll be honest alot of this guy is copied from this post : Heavy/Scratch: - Classics Omnibot Overdrive So his modification are cutting around the body chunk to allow for the chest to be lower and face outwards, I've removed the wing and filled gaps, I've added little guns to the flip around panel to have that G1 hidden weapon feel, the wheels have come from the TF prime Cliff jumper figure (they work alot better then I thought) he head is that of the original sideswipe with his ears cut off and a visor added. Instead of the windows bits on his arms I've replaced them with the wing tips from RTS Tracks. Thoughts?
Personally not really how the wings store away in alt mode is they fold up along the inside of the doors to have them work in alt mode its a miss transformations and i dont think it would look as good
That is awesome! Loved the Omnibots as a kid, mostly because I never had them, but always dreamed. Still waiting on official CHUG omnibots... But man, you really knocked this one out of the park, one of my favorites from you.
Very nice clean job. Really hoping we get the Ferrari in Earthrise. But not holding my breath. Your work on the Omnibots is awesome and well deserved customs. They are underrated and underused.
Haha brilliant! You need to rig up his chest guns somehow. Edit: on closer inspection you did! Fabulous, what a great use of an old figure.
