I'm TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED with this KO. The Backpack is still there. TE 01 will continue as my masterpiece OP.
Interesting... I am quite happy with my MS-01 and if i wanted a show accurate MP Convoy Id probably have gone with TE-01 as the back pack on this REALLY bothers me. However, there are things I like about mould this from the perpective of being an '86 movie fan....I just thought the price tag was insane. I'll have to keep an eye on this.
Yeah I don't get how people expected a knockoff to fix a core problem with the design They could've nibbled the base off the backpack slightly if they got rid of the voice feature, but other than that, the backpack wasn't going to be magicked away
Been looking for an regular earthrise prime here for a few weeks with no luck. Hopefully the upsized KO will come out soon enough.
I knew it was just a matter of time so I'm pretty excited for this guy... Fingers crossed it actually comes out in June.
I'm a little disappointed that he won't have the trailer. It's probably better that way, though, as it will bring the price down. With any luck they'll do a separate release of the trailer like was done for mp10 so anybody can have the cheap Optimus and anybody who wants the trailer can have it too.
I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case. So the options may include: Cab only Trailer only Cab + Trailer Just like with the KOs for MP-10 and MP-10B. Who knows, maybe when they KO MP-44B gets released they'll offer a matching trailer option like they did with KO MP-10B.

GOOD! Hopefully a KO of Hound is next. Put me into the category of wanting more diecast, stronger ratchets and no trailer. Indifferent with light up features and voice sounds.
After the debacle with this figure's knees, Bee 2.0, and what I call Shattered Plastic Hound (pun intended), I may finally consider my first KO after what's been happening. Definitely keeping my original MP-44 since it was a gift from my wife and I cherish it for that. But it will be nice to transform this without worrying about breaking it.
I have both the official and IT Megatron, so I might get one of these to compliment my official MP-44 if the price is right. At least that way I'll have a figure I'm not scared to touch for fear of further breakage and paint chipping. Odd that it has faction symbols moulded onto both shoulders though.
I'm hoping the final paint looks more appealing to me than MP44. I really dislike the thick, shiny, candy-like glaze on 44. I had hoped a KO would remove the electronics but oh well. I think it's hilarious that they said, "Nah, MORE electronics - have lights with your sounds!".
