Scrapper was my favourite of the Legends Devy set. It disappointed me that he has nothing bigger...

...until now  

 

Scrapper's alt mode unintentionally reminds me of Cybertron Landmine. And that is not a bad thing.

Sentinel actually looks better here than those in-hand photos, but I'm sure it's just because of the over-saturated red looking more cherry and less drab.

setinel looks good too but he could use a bit more less black especially in the front of the truck

 

I'm interested in Sentinel... but only if there's an upgrade kit, because that sword is a WEAK PUNY WASTE OF METAL.

 

Soundwave looks alright, I was hoping he wouldn't be retool but just looking at his thighs it seems he shares parts with DOTM Soundwave, but overall I'm happy with him. Blitzwing looks good for the most part but something about him just looks off I guess.

So does anyone remember this collage of Hasbro stock photos with an ugly magenta hue which I assembled for TFWiki years ago?


Well, somehow Hasbro managed to accomplish it again for their CG renders. It affects all the Studio Series figures (except for Cliffjumper, whose renders only exist at a low resolution), though it's most evident with Sentinel Prime and Overload, and to a lesser degree Blitzwing. I managed to find better versions with correct hues:

 

I ended up just ordering the old deluxe ROTF Soundwave on Ebay instead of pre-ordering the SS because I'm just more used to that design and It's accurate to the ROTF video game.

 

I\'ll be honest, when it comes to the Blitzwing, I\'m hoping some third party company will make an upgrade kit to make it look like the F-4 Phantom he was in the movie or a kit to make him look like the \"Cybertronion Jet\" they say the mode is supposed to be (which he doesn\'t look anything like the CGI models by a longshot.)
 

 

I don't think there's much that can be done to look like either. I've been looking at both modes for a while and I'm convinced Hasbro and Takara designed the toy starting with the robot mode first. It's a similar jet mode to the kids line Igniters(?) Blitzwing. It looks the way it does due to prioritizing and emphasizing the robot mode over the jet.

Now there is a way to possibly make it look better.. the vertical stabilizers should be able to swivel 180 degrees downwards to be upside down, before going to jet mode. Meanwhile, the horizontal stabilizers might be able to be swiveled upwards to act as angled vertical stabilizers. HOPEFULLY.

 

does anybody have the sku from the bottom of scrappers box so i can easily locate him at my local store?
