The only thing I was confused about was why didn't Megatron trust Soundwave and Shadowstriker about his plan? Was it because Soundwave worked with the Autobots during the Quintesson invasion?

 

Considering how they immediately kneeled to the Other One as soon as Megs was down, he was probably limiting it to bots who knew firsthand how bad he was and wouldn't defect.

 

Yeah, cuz Wind Wheel didn't kneel down immediately.

 

Sad to see this show end; hope to see more of this fun, creative and experimental spirit in future Transformers project because this really was the one show where anything could have happen in every episode!

I mean multiple titans, cybertronian creatures, new exciting characters, Quintessons, "peace-time" exploration... it was awesome!

 

I expected something bigger from the end.

 

I just finished watching this. First up thanks to @walruslaw for getting us season 3 to watch here. Overall I enjoyed the 3rd season with the battle for Cybertron and the Quintesson saga... but the last batch of episodes where Windblade lost her soul was just a waste. No explanation on who Astrotrain was and what Megatron did to help him. And the ending... so what happens next? I guess nothing now?

Overall as a series, it's not the worst we've gotten, but it definitely could have used some proper overall direction about how the story would play out. I feel there was a huge change between season 1 and 2, where the writers realized they needed to a course correction, and they just decided to scrap everything after that and move forward in time to a later date to try and move things along.

One thing that I do feel is that Jake Foushee really got into portraying Optimus Prime's voice very well in season 3. I think he'll be a fine replacement for Peter Cullen going forward in shows like War for Cybertron.

This series was fun to watch. Really enjoyed all the new characters in this season.

I can't believe when I saw it. We get Tarn in Cyberverse, of all places. A bit disappointed when they teases Tarn but ended up using him as decepticon clones. But I hope we will get official hasbro Tarn figure.

well, not much of a spoiler but that certainly confirms it

 

I was expecting now that Megatron was gone, Cybertron would be united and peace between the Autobots and Decepticons. Soundwave sure seemed to not be the enemy anymore or was the franken-lady-bot (forgot her name)

 

apparently both can be seen in the autoboot group shot at the end of the last ep so that might be the case

 

Certainly a 'refreshing' storyline. New plots and character-treatments never shown in previous animated series. Kudos for that. 

BUT..

To be honest, I was hoping to finally see an 'all Decepticon-Autobot' coalition against the Quintessons...
Yes, fine... we had our fair share of 'coalition' storyline, but I what I mean is, including all the classic characters that we know and love, such as Shockwave, Megatron, Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp, the Combiners...Each character with its own peculiarities, finally interacting with each other, side by side against their common foe. It would have been so entertaining...
This series has come so close...but failed at the end...

..and for Primus' sake. Can someone give Starscream a break? Second series in which he becomes a floating head... 

A perfect opportunity to have a representation of the typical, classic, scheming Starscream (in a cartoon series) finally working for the 'greater good' with the Autobots, LOST (Armada doesn't count, as in that series he left his faction, while I was looking forward to seeing the interaction between the two factions in a truce, and each character still behaving 'as their usual selves' and loyal to their own faction..desperately trying to get along.. )

So terribly disappointed when I saw Starscream as the Judge...And here I thought, when I saw the new Cyberverse Adventures toy of Starscream, that we were finally going to see him with the others, all differences put aside, and powered-up by the Allspark, fighting against the bad guys...finally showing that he, at the end, is also capable of caring and fighting for his planet like everyone else...

oh well...good series overall, but it has not left a good taste in my mouth...I'll now have to wait for the new Netflix series...

What the heck, all episodes are out? Already? But how??? Did they upload them all on Netflix or something? Season 2 came out gradually on Hasbro's youtube.

Which country? I mean, I am "over seas" too, just depends which sea you mean.  
Sadly so far the quality of the episodes isn't great. I guess I will watch them like this but 1080p would be nice.

Agreed, I could have sworn he WAS Cullen at times.

Season 3 felt a bit rushed compared to 1 and 2, but I'm overall still very happy with how things turned out and how creative it was. I hope the next show is a direct sequel to this, especially with some of the questions it leaves hanging! (Either that or a Season 4 or video game/ comic tie-in to serve as an epilogue, anything really.)
